Don't suppose circular thinking could have meant disc golfing?

What's the shelter they are talking about?

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:00 AM Permalink
Leah Logan

vanoshed tracks are the train tracks for the train car sitting there - there are no tracks- they've vanished

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:00 AM Permalink
JessicaG

anyone thinking animal shelter

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:00 AM Permalink
Allison Wonderland

Over by the mini golf, there is an opening in the ground for hot ash disposal. Maybe it lies somewhere between there and the gazebo?

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:00 AM Permalink
ares

yes, leah, but were there ever tracks underneath that trolley?

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:00 AM Permalink
MushieW

Vanished tracks could mean the old street car tracks!

Is the spot where this clue indicates a large space or does this clue confine the location to a smaller spot where it is likely to be found soon?

Baseball fields below the animal shelter?

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:02 AM Permalink
JessicaG

openin below could just be a sewer drain

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:02 AM Permalink
StepDogg

ares - what is your IM name?

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:03 AM Permalink

Rats - I was sure it was in Zone 4, now it is looking more like Zone 7 near the east gate.

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:03 AM Permalink

the pavillion has an opening in the back below over by the paddleboats

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:03 AM Permalink
Rob Norris

OMG THE OPENING BELOW I KNOW WHERE THAT IS. EVERYTHING LINES UP. The off base part the old car, the pavilion. Well see you all later!!!!

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:03 AM Permalink
JessicaG

Track could be animal tracks=animal shelter

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:03 AM Permalink

It could be at a baseball field

the opening below could be the dugout

and the shelter is how plate where your "safe"

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:04 AM Permalink
Leah Logan

I don't know ares- maybe they vanished b/c the tracks are covered w/ snow

Here's my two cents: Where was it found in '97? Vanished tracks could be referring to the location of the medallion from that year.

We'll talk in a sec

kk i dont know if i can go yet i have to call my sister

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:05 AM Permalink
JessicaG

whats the refernce to safe?

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:05 AM Permalink
Allison Wonderland

I don't remember any, unless they mean theoretical tracks that go in the direction the trolley is facing. But if that was the case, that would be pretty much pinpointing a spot which seems unlikely.

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:05 AM Permalink
Kevin Kasl

anyone know for sure they are going to go.

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 12:05 AM Permalink
ares

don't know leah, i'm thinking it's more like there once were tracks there, but they've been abandoned by the railroad or other entity operating them. just as a note to people, i'd assume you're all smart enough to know this, but the puck's not gonna be hidden anywhere near rail lines. they're private property and the railroads tend to get cranky about people on them.

st. paul parks - a treasure hunters guide. try the hungry mind/ruminator or the map store downtown. or you could track down steve in a park and buy it directly from him.
