The only place I went to today was over by the mini golf. But it may or may not be there. Most of the clues fit there, but most of them can be made to fit over by the pavilion also. I know of the hot ash disposal by the mini golf. Not sure what the opening would be by the pavilion. But vanished tracks makes more sense by the pavilion. Or are there some by the mini golf too? I was never clear on where they were.
It's too bad that area is being used for the carnival activities. Otherwise it very well could be there...on account of this clue. Everything makes sense. Between the opening under the Midway Picnic Pavillion and the bathroom shelter. ~S
Daddy, it is a possibility, but I can't imagine that for the list of their explanations of the clues for #9 "the opening below=gates of hell, head towards the nearest church" I would love to read it though if that were correct!
Vanished tracks are tracks that are not there anymore-like melted. and water runs towards the lake-drain u will find the med between the pavalion and the lake.
I think I need to sleep.. All I can think about opening below is the gates of Hell, or looking down a pit toilet.. I must be really dreading going back to work in the am and not being able to dig by daylight.
Good luck to all and remember if you find two medallons share one with me..
the man of mettle is william melan,,,, the maker of the bridge on the east side of the lake... a pioneer of pre stressed concreteand metal reinforced bridges
Could I get a ride from one of you people going on the hunt tonight. I want to have a go at it for a couple hours. The person who gives me the ride gets half the prize.
I like the ideas about the painted tracks, old trolley tracks and animal shelter...Godd noodleing gang
I just can't figure 'from the opening below'???
Below... on a bridge, on top of a hill, over a drain,...???
Jorge, please don't be rude.
Rushmore, that area is being used now for all the winter carnival activities...it was off a baseline on that field... very unlikely.
aight peeps, im out, im finna hook up with Shaggy 2 Dope and we'll see those of you going out......out there... LAYTA
Rushmore, in 97 it was north of the East Picnic Grounds, Zone 2 for you treasure guide people.
There is a shelter there, too...

Where do you live Kev?
What do you guys think about the tracks in the snow being the closed part of Buela and the shelter being the Humane society?
Kev, you just may be out of luck. I think just about anyone that has gone, is gone. Could be wrong.
off of Earl And Maryland just a few blocks south of maryland.
Where is that?
Ace, that explains to me why they haven't torn down that old bridge yet. I have been wondering that for a while.
