If you click on the blue number by your name you'll get an address who's string reads exactly where your message lies. You'll see that there's number that corresponds exactly to the number of your message. Just take that number out and type in number 24415 hit enter and then you'll be taken to that message directly.

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 8:01 AM Permalink

There's so many different things about that, who knows? But there's the circle that walkers and bikers can take around como and it's by the golf course. There's the decorative circles that link together around the carousel. There's all kinds of different circles. The firepits are circles...what else?

Thanks matty for the number

that is the part that drives me nuts! there are so many circles where ever you go!!

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 8:03 AM Permalink
Matty Smith

I do think, however, there is a trick to to this. Circular thinking could also mean our minds....confused. It could be at a total place that we aren't thinking of.

Thanks for the number Matty

yes!!!! Arrggghhh - but on the good side, I found a backup so I can take off for my extended lunch break. Yippee!!

Food for thought: Regarding clue 9: Train tracks? Animal tracks? These were bandied about earlier today. Any ideas?

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 8:10 AM Permalink

pretty much, matty.

I wanted to take off...but as a teacher that would not be good. I want to be hunting!!!! Tracks....train or animal I am not sure what I think yet!

A good explanation of the "circular thinking" clue is at post# 21927.

what was it....I don't want to go through the jumpin back stuff. Takes my computer so long!!

Here it is, by Sue Bee

Not that it even matters anymore, but I think I've figured out the "Circular Thinking could be one way of linking..." clue. You play a ROUND of golf, and they call golf courses "links." It was just trying to say that it's in a park that has a golf course. Whatta ya think? I just want to see if I'm right when the explanations come out.

I think that it could be that. Carosel or something

I've got these posted messages marked, cataloged, linked, categorized, alphabetized, submitted to "Who wants to be a Millionnaire", documented in the CoolerCrew bylaws, mailed to Santa, etc. Everything except memorized.

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 8:23 AM Permalink
Matty Smith

where is zone 4 for you?

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 8:23 AM Permalink
Matty Smith

Do you all think the opening below is McMurray fields or is there another opening??

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 8:26 AM Permalink
Me Dal Leon Hunter

Matty, I've been asking the Coolerheads that question since 5am this morning; and no one has responded -- I still don't know where ZONE 4 is at. It must be a Coolerhead thing.

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 8:26 AM Permalink
Matty Smith

I know the zones refer to the guide, but I do not have mine.

I have a map from file WCEVENTSMAP.PDF which I downloaded; but it shows only 1,2,3 and 5 -- no 4......strange.

What work? I live, breath, categorize, write to Santa, etc. about finding this medallion.

I think that the zone stuff refers to the treasure hunters guide. Steve W.'s book. He's got como divided into several sections. But like you, I'm not sure what section 4 refers to.

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THE "OPENING BELOW" IS REFERING TO

Hi Scribe! Bye Scribe! :-)

Mon, 01/29/2001 - 8:41 AM Permalink

Zone 4 does indeed refer to Steves guide! It is pretty much the west picnic area and firepits in como.

I was telling my husband some of the clue pieces when he got home from up North since Friday. He does not get into this hunt. I guess the medallion does not have to be in the snow. He said it was by some old train tracks several years ago right on the tressel. (i think i spelled that right) This made me think with all this snow that maybe they didn't put down deep. I will be out most of the day looking weather permitting.

Me Dal Leon Hunter

Notice how Coolerhead "Scribe" said "see you all in the spot" -- must be that secret zone 4 thing they keep mentioning. It's probably a time warp to where the medallion is hid.

I'm leaving here shortly -- just being silly for now.

Matty, you asked a question "what does that mean?"; your question is too vague, because no-one knows what post you're asking about. You probably won't receive an answer if you ask questions like that, because no one knows what you're asking about. You should say, for example, "What does your question in post # 43 mean?".

Hope I wasn't too critical.
