yeah, cool, ill check that out. But hey, i gotta bounce up outta here real quick, but if any of you Ninjas are around later, i'll come around and say whaddap. and if I or Shaggy 2 Dope dont talk to ya before, we'll see ya at the bash.
Have you ever heard of Insolence or the Gipsy Kings?
Haven't heard the Gipsy Kings for a few years (hope I'm thinking of the same band!) but really enjoyed their stuff a couple years back...do they have anything new?
Well, I still have 4 more days off, so I'm probably gonna have to catch up on 'real world' stuff. I'll be at reHash 4 with sloppies on Sunday, and Micki and Kollin should be there at 2:30. (Bowling position round and his team is in first place by 6 points-can't miss.)(Dad, I'm the star of the team.)
No problem, Ian. Before I turned 30, I was a pretty hip guy! I was real impressed with myself when I knew that Violent J was a moniker from Insane Clown Posse--not my music, mind you, but nice to know that I still have some connection with the youth of America! Can't let that Rolling Stone subscription run out, I guess. Anyoo--see y'all on Sunday! I've met a few of the Crew out and about, it will be nice to see what the rest of you look like. For example, until the pity party last year, I was pretty sure Green looked like James Garner.
I had to come back here just one more time in a desperent attempt for closure. I'm sure we are all suffering the effects of post treasure hunt depression, but we shall have to move on. It was a good year we had some laughs we maybe even cried a little when it ended (come on violent J admit it). There were vampires there were clowns there were crazy married ladies in white wedding gowns. And now all there is to say is keep on keepin on and next year will be the year.
we'll all be back with a vengeance next year, comic. some of us won't ever leave. i'm gonna make a point this year to follow through on the shoot the breeze board until next january.
although none of the regular posters here (i've heard rumors that cathi is a lurker) grabbed the puck, it was a lot of fun, especially in all of our catatonic stupors between 11 and 1 at nite.
I 'met' a lot of new people, which is good. But I wonder about some who didn't return. I didn't read all 15,000 posts, but I never saw Beeyob, Hollywood, Ittiz Eye, and rarely saw G. Sax. I know you guys haven't lost the fever, where the hell were ya.
BTW, if you used the coolercrew.com site at all, how about a little note of appreciation to the webmaster, G. Sax ? He's done a hell of a job, and it's voluntary, folks.
OK, enough of my rambling. Next order of business: reHash Bash
Got TNWTDWTMC good and hooked on the hunt. This was her first time. She was having dreams about where the medallion was buried. And found herself looking at EVERYTHING and thinking about how the clues might fit the spot...and then she'd realize she was in Minneapolis! She now wants to get a treasure hunt book, and study up on St. Paul history, and go to a different park each week next spring, summer, fall to memorize the stuff there.
"MeddelingKids- I would recomend my Class. Youll be a super star Pimptress in less that a week Guarenteed. No money down. No CODS If you are not satusfide you will be given a complete refund LOL"
Bob, is that you? I'm still waiting for my frickin refund!
"In speaking to her tonight, she revealed the true source of her fortune. It seems that during last years hunt, I had wizely signed her book: "Good Luck NEXT Year"..!"
Hey, you signed ours "The medallion is mine"...........You jerk! :-)
look at it this way, dave, you could always go get the paper at 11, and transcribe the clues and explanations here if it'll help you cope.
Hi DD

and comic, i didn't cry. i swore =)
That was the same Gipsy Kings! They are not a band you can just turn on the radio, and hear. They have done a few soundtrack type songs though.
I don't have to stay up till midnight. I don't have to stay up till midnight. I don't have to stay up till midnight.

then Fitger's Bock Hunt 2001
PEACE
Damn... I was right there this morning!! I grabbed the wrong pile of snow I guess. There were only like 8 people there this morning at 8am
Hey Ian - Is your family staying in Duluth for the Bock Hunt? We are thinking about it. Not sure how many kids to bring.....1? 3? 0?
The question might well be "how many kids to take home from the bock hunt"...LOL!!!
Hi Mom! Hi Ian! Hi Everybuddy else!
I know a kid who went to the bock hunt with her father and came home with her mother.
EAGS!!!
THAT'S **NOT** FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry!!! <g>
Something caused me to spit out coffee all over the monitor. Hmmm.
Just like the old days...

Guess I'll head for the nest...Nite Coolerheads!

I gotta get under the blankets here too. With no hunt going on, I've no excuse being up so late!
See y'all later. Goodnight and SCD's!

Hey, does anyone ever wonder why there's even an Aquaman? How much crime really happens under water?
The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
And this one's for Jake: Why do psychics have to ask you for your name?
HELLO? ANYBODY HOME?
There's nobody home! I'm locking you out!
Come on sweetie, let me in.
I didn't mean it.
La La La La, I can't hear you!
But sweetie, he meant nothing to me.
And you're only deaf in one ear.
Just go away!
Go back to your medallion man-whore!
I hope you and Aquaman have a great life together!!!!!
But honey bunny, what can I do but say I'm sorry?
He had a big shovel! Please forgive me. Pleeeeaaaasssseeeee?
Well, I had a pitch fork. That wasn't good enough for you?
But schnookums, what can I say but he had a big, I mean BIG, shiny shovel!
Please Honey Bunny?
What was wrong with my pitchfork?
But your pitchfork wasn't shiny.
It was all bent and rusty.
Fine, I'm going to pack up the kids and follow the "Greatful Dead".
But Jerry's dead.
Then I will follow his dancing spirit, down memory lane, in search of the lucky frog.
