Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
Hmmmmm, I am just trying to open up my mind to new possibilities, them taping the medallion to the bottom of a picnic table was innovative and fooled everyone. If we can catch on to something like that, we will be home free. Because there are less drinking fountains that there is open space.

Good grief, all of these posts to go through. One thing I thuoght of. Perhaps they come up with multiple clue sets for various parks. These clue sets are for certain conditions. Maybe one is for a hunt with little snow, maybe another is for a hunt of a lot of snow. Maybe a small group selects which clue set they feel is the best for that year. "Nope, we can't use this one! That damn Green has it already figured out! Go to plan B!"
If Green has been correct about the clues all these years I am doing something horribly wrong. But, as long as she keeps doing it and they keep going to plan "b", then I will be okay. So, I hope green keeps coming up with Phalen.
The usual coolerhead sign the past few years has been some form of white on your arm or leg. A sock tied around, a handkerchief, a tshirt..... something white though to distinguish. And as Green said in a previous post, if you're not sure, just ask "You dig?". They should respond back similarly or with "I dig".
Man you guys gotta alot of jibber jabber on here you post wasters!! Just kidding.... The stuff about places to hid it and possible parks was good though.
Wait a min, does anyone know if we can change our font color this year. get back to me if you know how
And one last this here before i hit the hay, what is everyones "SIGN" like there color for hunting or special hat to indicate who they are, does anyone have one of those so i can know you when i see you.
It's good to see everybody out here in the cooler, where is alisonwonderbra Green you have some good parks listed but just for the record I've been bzzy And ready to call the park
Battle creek
Also for the record I'm going to find it And I will keep the puck. To much work to just give it back.
Listen if it is a small park it will be found within 24hrs Just like Newell. That sucks a one day hunt is a joke. A small park will be sifted in a day! there are more hunters than ever remember Newell that park was turn over in 14 hours and there was plenty of snow and cold, that did not stop anyone. Conway was not that small nobody even touched the far end of the park.
But hey lets face it the clue writer is not all that bright, personally I don't think they put too much thought into writing the clues. Remember the clue I wrote last year? That was a great clue I still feel bad about those people who I sent to the capital mall with that clue.
Good morning, fellow hunters in waiting!!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I stopped by to check out if anyone was here chatting. Already over 400 messages posted and the countdown has begun. Starting to get the vibes and the shovel is waiting by the door. Hope the clue writers are better at their trivia than they were last year. Was disappointed as another year went by without a cooler hunter winning the prize. Will check back later.
My kids (ages 7 & 9.) gave me the greatest Christmas gift this year...
a cow pooper scooper - bought at Fleet Farm EVERYONE SHOULD CHECK THIS OUT!!!!! This thing will be great it sifts through the snow awesome!
a light that attaches to my head, for late night digging. I've been nervous to dig at night because I haven't had anyone to go out with and I don't know any of you. But it will still come in handy for after dinner digs.
This is the 5th year I've done this but the first that I've had tools. I can't wait.
I guess I did it now. I got censored (deleted) on the Twins board, but I still have my same log-in after five (5) years. Where, oh where, has my little dog gone? Where, oh where can Sloop be?
Is this the medallion hunt chat, or the relationship hunt chat? Yeah, the two single ladies aren't single, but they didn't really find love on here, did they?
?I thought that was yours tim.

The best hidden izz the least hidden.
Boy, did I find that out when my folks "hid" a TV they gave me one year for Chrismas...
They stuck the unwrapped box rite out on the garage shelves. I never saw the thing.
Yes this would be a good year to try something like that. You could be on to something.
And...
gotta
GET THIS JOE!
So, everyone go to Green's house and tear apart the garage, it is on the shelf.
too many possibilities! I need a clue!
Leetle park, rite out in the open.

PALOMINO JOE!!!
LOTS of posts, but I gotta copy this one concerning the Capitol Mall:
tim_the_hunter - 04:47pm Jan 2, 2002 CST (#429 of 464)
Some people call me... Tim.
It was found relatively early, before it was put back...
hmmm, marley, 420, smokin joe...might be on to something
...now if I could just get that certificate back !
Good Evening!
For the record - it was found VERY early that year. Yup. Such is life.

Goodnight!

I think capital mall is out, with sept 11 I don't think they want a bunch of people digging around there. Too risky.
Liquor Lady, have I met you before???

It depends on your definition of "real".

Don't find the medallion early? Talk to Tim, he's the one who apparently is going to find it. We're just the supporting cast, making cameos.
