Tired of digging in the snow, and chopping ice? Are the vague clues starting to drive you CRAZY? If you hear one more idiot scream I found it I found it, you think you'll going on a killing spree? Are you starting to think Joe Medallion isn't such a bad guy anyway? If so your looking in the right place.
Acme Medallion services can be yours for a mere 9,999$ a month for 12 months. For this you would get 6 teams of Siberia's finest miners. Each team is headed by a PhD in anthropology from Harvard, and backed up by a fleet of Bobcats. The research team is comprised of 20 librarians, with full satilite search support. The entire Minnesota historical society staff can be added for another 20%.
But the truly amazing part of this package is the defensive team that will confound your compitition. A team of snow makers, Zambonies, and O.J. lawyer team will throw you apponents into a tizzy. Joe Medallion can also send nonstop garbage on the cooler to foil the cooler conspiracy.
Hi guys... havent seen you here before, so I'll clue you in on some o the common water cooler idears. the 3 pyramids are the roof on the restroom building in CP. double division= Annapolis Avenue (southend of park) thats where Ramsey, Dakota Cntys, and St. Paul, West St. Paul all divide. thats four divisions. To and Fro are the swingsets in Cherokee. the two domes are the capitol and cathedral, the plume of smoke the power plant and kids zooming and rosebud (citizen kanes sled) refer to the sledding hill in CP's southend. all can be seen from certain locations in the park.
Shovelboy - how can you see all that and the 3 pyramids rise over the snow. Everytime I find a great place to start to dig, I figure out I can't see one of the key items.
the poles from the swingsets form ^'s- in fact, at mounds, they are three-sided and form actual pyramids and there are three of them on the playground there. we were sure that it was the answer to the three pyramids clue. that was then, this is now.....
Chippewa once again brought up,is an old idea. that just once again points to CP (the obvious). I think really hip is a clue meaning cool. Cool+whip= cool whip. Thats what I think the medallions in. Someone else thinks bandaid box (doubt it, it was in a bandage box recently), someone else said a Pace picante jar, as in the clue stating keep up the pace and win the race...Let's face it, almost everyone interprets these clues differently. And as many solutions as I've seen on here in the last couple of days and the fact that only one solution is right, means everyone here, not too mention the losers...uhh...I mean people who aren't in the cooler, have just as good a chance as anyone else.
A chat area would be easier in some way. There is a point on the southside that allow you to see the smoke straight ahead, the hill at your back, the cathedral. Other points dont allow you to see some of those things, but allow you to see others. Read the clues carefully though. Not all things necessarily have to be in view. Some clues almost mention that certain items will just be nearby, some may even be to your back. Someone else asked about street names.
Smith Avenue is the highbridge, you take a right from Smith (when yourheading south)onto Cherokee heading you west. Cherokee turns and runs down the North/Northwest side of the park. Annapolis runs the length of the south side. Chippewa runs the east side. Excepts for little spots between the streets and lots and splotches of land on the opposite side of Cherokee, most of the park is in a triangle shaped piece of land between those streets. Baker is nearby and runs into Chippewa...hence the clue that mentions dough. thats about all I can tell you about the streets.
I have enjoyed the thrill of the hunt for this madallaion and infact have shoveled to find the darn thing but Shooting Star is my wife and i tell you she is going to town on this to a point of obsestion. so to all of you [ my self included] when some poor sap who goes out one day [and one day only] and stubbles on to it and findes it we can all meet and start a support group and throw darts at the winners picture.
And to all who have just started the hunt and are using the skills of deduction of those on this site.
Hi, this is Joe. About 5 minutes ago, I read the E-Mail you sent me near noon today. I noticed you were going to get on the Water Cooler about 8pm, so I logged over to it just now. Send me an E-Mail with your phone # and I can call you -- and we can talk about going looking this evening, if we decide the clue will help us -- I'm not sure how to reach you this evening other than that way. If we can talk, there's also this possibility: one of us can get clue on Internet, relay it to the other at the site via cell phone and then meet-up at the site shortly after that -- that would give the person at the site a slight jump getting the clue before anyone else (if the clue is hot). I'll be looking for you on Water Cooler and E-Mail.
I just like the idea of seeing everyone as CRRRAAAZZZZY as myself out there, that's the best part. I would however love to be the one to find it. Yes, the water cooler will be given high praise for there help. I truly believe the treasure to be near .... something .... I can't wait for the next clue. I'm staying at work just to get it as soon as I can.
Hi all...I looked for half the day today...no luck...but I do believe (for the water cooler people only) that they did give you Curtise Street and Winona Street already. Who knows..this is just a thought..but Curtise band aids and then also Winona..."Win the Race."
Well, I'm going to miss the hunt--it's almost over--but my body aches everywhere. And, too, I need a good night's sleep. Good luck all. I hope it's one of us.
3 pyramids rising over the snow, maybe that means you need to stand at a certain position or area in the park where you only see the 3 pyramids rising over the snow rather than the whole building.
well, i have to give up the hunt... going out of town for rest of week... here's some thoughts i had today... speaking of street: look at clue 8 - WIN our race...there's NO need to ... look near A place! WINONA!!! ok, far fetched i know... here's another: maybe it is at the cape and/or tip of the park, where cherokee and chippewa get close or do they come together... anyone considered that they had already given us the park, and that cherokee was meant to be the street? wish i could get out yet, but probably won't - unless the clue is a doozy! i almost wish someone would find it and put me out of my misery :) oh, and i got to meet new daddy last night... good luck to you, that prize would buy a lot of diapers... and anyone else notice that there are a lot of novice hunters this year.... lots of people digging, not even knowing the clues.
Casey - get us a server that can handle this. It's so frustrating. Just got back from Cherokee. Everything is so trampled on. We are so sore. People still at every part of the park. Lots on the "tip". Like the idea of the Winona. It also fits the "city" street theory. It'll take some hard digging. Hope the clue tonight puts us on top of it!
hi all, Yes I Think looking for a spot where it looks like pyramids are rising out of snow is right. Looked for 4 hours today my arms ache alot but I want to go out again tonight. ALOT of novice hunters out there. Hope its not one of them that finds it.
Hmm... Well, I'd think anyone would agree that there's going to be another mad rush at the park come 11:30, regardless of what the clue says.
Has it ever been found in place that may be risky or dangerous to little children, ex. uneven ground, the crevice below the sled hill?
Could the pyramids be the swingsets?
How do you get a pyramid out of a swingset?
anyone know where I could find explanations to prior clues from prior hunts?

All this and more could be yours. cash only!!
Does the poles of the swing set form a trianlge shape. Some do
and some don't?

My guess it is going to be in a Citizen's watch box, hence the
"Rosebud" clue which was the 3rd I think. Seems like the containers are clued in the 2nd or 3rd in the past.
Methinks new daddy had way too much snow sprayed in his face today.
Shovel Boy, what are some of the street names around Cherokee,
I have no clue, because I live three hours away.
Shovelboy - how can you see all that and the 3 pyramids rise over the snow. Everytime I find a great place to start to dig, I figure out I can't see one of the key items.

What about three pine trees? They are triangle form and the
stumps make them rise over the snow.

YOU WILL NEVER FIND IT!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
[sinister laugh]
It could also be ina video case for the Movie Citizen Kane. Or,
a CD case fron Demo
or a snow globe - as a snow globe was dropped as Kane said Rosebud.
20 paces where from and where to?
the next clue is just going to refer to the other street on the other side of the park
I agree, the next clue will give the cross street to Chippewa.
Is there a bank around the area. Consider this a worthwhile tip
clue could use tip as a coin or paper money.

The division line tells use that it isn't farther than Annapolis, which we know.
The 3 pryamids tell us that it isn't father North that the bathrooms.
Tonites clue should tell us either Winona/Wyoming/Curtice Streets
Whips, capes, head of a commitee..............Has anyone checked the Lincoln bedroom?
john, i don't remember seeing anything like that nearby...unless you count the 1st bank building
Cherokee Bank is two blocks away from CP, it is near where the medallion
was found 6 yrs ago

Williams..I've seen that site in two areas...That's my hunch too.
Allie ---- I thought the same thing about 2 days ago and no one beleived me. I like your way of thinking.
well, i have to give up the hunt... going out of town for rest of week... here's some thoughts i had today... speaking of street: look at clue 8 - WIN our race...there's NO need to ... look near A place! Hey JJ...do I have a partner tonight?
Gray Beard,
oh, my god my mom just got home, guess what!
Methinks new daddy had way too much snow sprayed in his face today.
hi all, Yes I Think looking for a spot where it looks like pyramids are rising out of snow is right. Looked for 4 hours today my arms ache alot but I want to go out again tonight. ALOT of novice hunters out there. Hope its not one of them that finds it.
