...kinda slow here, so I'll ask another techie question:
I have the 1998 boards saved as html files, but the e-mail addresses and avatars (user pics) were stripped from them. I have not looked at the code (is that what it's called?), but if I wanted to reconstruct them, could I change the pic info, upload the appropriate pics to my website, and have the pages appear as they originally were?
I was out walking by the river along East River Road today and it got me thinking about how much public land is along there. The medallion could be anywhere along the river technically.
Well that earlier discussion about wasting posts was rather harsh. Even though there is a good point in it. If there's no one around and if you don't have much to say, don't waste posts with jibberish. One last thing, this JOE thing should maybe be only used for the big numbers not 4110. Big deal that you got 4110. Now if you get 4500 of 5000 then thats worth a JOE. Please stop wasting posts on crap.

the single 0's have some (incredibly small) relevance when you're at, say the 10th post. but with 4000+ posts here, a joe it isn't. 100s, 1000s, and (and i'm gonna get this one) 10000s, very much qualify, though methinks the 100s don't once we get to the 10000 mark.
no on to something a bit more relevant. weather.com's forecast. some snow tomorrow, but with a high of 35 and then 38 on monday it ain't gonna last. partly cloudy all the way through next monday when we could get snow showers. i think its gonna be a very entertaining hunt.

Not everybody minds slogging through posts, whether its relevant to the hunt or not. Some posts are knowledgeable, some posts are silly, some posts are Hilarious, some posts are dumb, and some are annoying. I like to read about Scribes rubber chicken, Green's Velveta Cheese, Terry's sons accomplishments(congrats), Allisons job search, Usual Suspects Las Vegas Car Trouble,...whatever people want to share! All these things make up a community. If there are posts that are irrelevant, like a series of one word posts, I skip over them-big deal. The only thing I don't like is people bashing other people for any reason.

I was back down at HI today and Como for a little while. Got some new photos to add to the site....expect them later tomorrow. Also some things to add regarding Como revisions over the summer.
By the way, it was hard for me to walk around without looking in frozen puddles and stepping on clumps of dirt. Who knows...I might find it before the hunt even starts!

I do believe Marron will be attending... I've heard even the lakes up nord can't hold fisherpeople (then WHY were they out on Battle Creek Lake yesterday??? Even a CAR!!! Ans: "Nature weeding out the stupid."), so I don't think he's heading that way to fish.
