Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
And this Devil's Den, I think I've heard o'that... Eags ended up some place called The Devil's Den, the year it was at Conway (1999). She was sure that's where The Med was because there was this tree that had a branch, a big one, that formed the number '4'.
Hello all, well I guess this is my initial 2002 post. I certainly didn't expect to see this many posts before clue #1. I think if you could patent a product to scan through the slogs and extract the useful stuff you could make a million $. Personally I prefer good natured ribbing to malicious insults, but hey, that's just me. I'll be at the McGovy's gig again this year with the new Mrs. Electric Duane: Tiny Thumbs. Look forward to seeing the regulars and meeting a couple new folks. My initial thoughts are 1. A park nowhere near any water... folks going through ice is not cool. and... 2. A small infrequently visited park to decrease the chances of someone accidentally stubling accross it with no snow and all. Chew on that...........
If there's no snow, we might be looking at a non-on-the-ground hiding place this year. Previously hunts have indicated that a hunter should look around and see landmarks to reveal park location. This year a clue referencing that same thing may be tipping off a more exact location of the medallion iteself. I should be watching football, but instead I drive myself batty enterpreting clues that aren't out yet. I am sick.........
duane, that is a joe for eags, she started call them before me, and I have no clue what you are talking about besides the fact that they are eagle joes
Why yes, Tim...my PLAN is to go to the pre-dig gig and get the 1st clue. Then I will use my skills and cunning to find the medallion that very night. If that doesn't work I will wait until later in the hunt to give everyone else a chance.
Yuppers, EDuane... Nord east rec center. My feminen (sp?) intuition, gut, Piscean instincts tell me so. (As well as the Aliens that speak to me during the nite...)
You must, Rush. Saw where you said that earlier. You can be Directional Cop for us. When you get there, let them know you're with The 'Crew - they may put us upstairs - and you can direct folks as they arrive.
Later On Tzefanyah (Hebrew)
Green- You mean Dickerman? by Porky's
Nah. Wasn't Dickerman... But I'll know the name when I hear it.
Iris? It's right next to Porky's, Nice little park
Treasure Hunters Guide Pg 43, Photo 132
wasn't iris one of the top contenders for us last year until *that* clue came out?
I do believe it was Iris. I'm pretty sure.
And this Devil's Den, I think I've heard o'that... Eags ended up some place called The Devil's Den, the year it was at Conway (1999). She was sure that's where The Med was because there was this tree that had a branch, a big one, that formed the number '4'.
Wasn't Iris 1999 or the Newell year? I don't think it was last year.
The Devils Den is at Newell
Oh.
Never mind!

Good evening all. Glad to see things have quieted down. One week to PDG....
Pardon me, Tim. I was thinking along the lines of "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" but I guess that means MY age is showing.
Green...hmmmm...rec centers... Is that your "official" pre-hunt prediction?
My official pre hunt prediction... in ramsey county, not on ice, not in a tree, not in the trash.
You gonna be at the pre dig gig Duane?
Why yes, Tim...my PLAN is to go to the pre-dig gig and get the 1st clue. Then I will use my skills and cunning to find the medallion that very night. If that doesn't work I will wait until later in the hunt to give everyone else a chance.
Good plan, to bad I have already found the medallion, but don't tell anyone.
actually, i already found the medallion, timmers. it was in the badgers goal in madison. oh you were talking about a blue puck? nevermind.
In a California navel orange, Tim?
Yuppers, EDuane... Nord east rec center. My feminen (sp?) intuition, gut, Piscean instincts tell me so. (As well as the Aliens that speak to me during the nite...)
Howdy, Kids!

Lettuce put this puppy to bed. The Med's been found.
