one thing to remember about saying things like that. if you go through and remove the most moronic 10% today, and then another 10% of what's left tomorrow, and so on, eventually you yourself fall into the 10%. and you create an elitist society. generally speaking though, the morons have a tendency to take care of themselves. like hunting for the medallion on power poles and such. speaking of that i've got a link to a website somewhere that actually shows a guy on an acid trip climing along the really-high voltage lines. and even though he survived it, i just gotta say it didn't exactly look pleasant.

Those opinions have been expressed and acknowledged. And all here, so far, are doing their best to go with the concencus of keeping this thread as much on topic as possible.
and your flash can only get you so far when you're taking outdoorsy pictures. it's not that hard to tell what the weather was like the days i was out taking my charlie brown pics (follow the links from my name if you're interested in seeing them) based on the background light level.

As I said, some socialization is good, even to be encouraged. But many people are taking it to extremes and the rediculous.
