What if we all went out together, plotted out a piece of ice to chop and all worked together? How much of $4000 would we each get? Probably none. We'd be in the wrong spot.
Hokay peoples, I is back, had to eat some supper before mulling through some more ideas and running back outside. Nimrod, I took that shot on timer with my QuickCam a few days ago, using it on my webpage. :) I'll be out there again tonight, after the clue is released, with orange gloves, and a big rabbit/some furry animal fur hat. Probably carrying my pickax, that seemed to rip apart the snow rather fast tonight. I like that winona bit, perhaps a little too far fetched, though; has anyone tried making words out of the first/last/whatever letters in each clue so far?
the idea that me dal lean hunter came up with is a good one, its back a little somewhere. this is me, my icon, except ill have a hat and or face mask, maybe glasses and a hoe insted of ice scrapper. but i like the idea, just a little too trusting.

HFP- wear a white arm band, or have a white towel or diaper in your pocket so all of us coolers will know ya and you will be digging with a lot of people.
I've got to slog thru stuff, but was CP tonite from about 6:45 to 7:30 and I was the ONLY Cooler there. Had a white golf hat and on it it said, "PPMCC Member/I'm Way Cooler'un You!/Hail Cooler Hand Luke!!!
Asked several people if they were Coolers, and they looked at me like I had two heads. The hot dog guy by the johns said, when asked if hed seen any coolers, "Where? Just sitting around?" I said, "No, they'll be digging and have white towels, hats or bandanas."
He got a little spooked I think, as he slowly backed away from me...
I *really* think "Crew" (like Vulcan Krew!) is better than "clan" - particularly the conotation. Ah, yes.
And... I *really* think our letter designation should be "PP*M*CC" as the PP has SO MANY diff Coolers. We need to stress THE MEDALLION - THAT WHICH WE ALL DIG FOR!!!
Gave the clues to my co-worker (a St. Paul native) and he advised it was definately Mounds Park. Went there tonight and realized it was not Mounds Park. After visiting the cooler tonight, I know where I'll be tomorrow--that is if it is still out there. The kid is in bed and I can't leave her here alone. Anyway, lot's of great ideas brewing in here. I'll be down there after next clue. I am cooler crew, but I will be wearing a leather biker jacket with the logo for Combustible Edison painted in white on the back. Soul Coughing on the right sleeve and Pulp Fiction on the left, if you see me, say hi....I'll do likewise. I think my sweetie will be down there with me again. I've got some industrial strength tools this time.
As far as the buildings downtown being pyramids...I doubt it. The clues are being read to tightly....They say things like in a place where or nearby, etc. The pyramids and other things don't have to necessarily be next to you...these clues led us to Cherokee, not necessarily the exact burial spot. As long as these things are in CP, you're right on...Only a couple of things should actually be in view....least that's how I read it...
Im not good remembering who wrote what up there when Im typing my own posts....but I hope that one dude puts some clothes on before he goes out. If he is out in CP looking like he does in the picture he's gonna lose his own medallions...then he'll have to look for 3 of 'em!!! (laugh)
ill be there and with my farther, not too good of digger though, but now im pictured with my hoe which i replaced my ice chipper with. although i must say i feel like a dunce cuz i thought the 10th clue was about wonder woman, i loved watching that when i was little.
So am I counted in enough, have I contributed and been on the board enough to qualify, will I be accepted if I actually find a way to show up with my white homer-hanky on!? Or do I have to go ahead and reveal the location of the medallion to the very inch to qualify?!?

Revealing the medallion to the very inch and then handing it over to your fellow cooler members so we can cash it in is the standard way of becoming a member....So where is it? (laugh)
Ya, I'm at work...but this is my extra part time job...get this... I work for a home health agency where my sister is a client. I get paid my normal rate to take care of her at my own parents house...just a couple evenings a week for extra cash. the bummer part is-Im here and not at CP....but Im done at 10:30, I run home, get my gear and the clue, then Ill be at CP faster than lightning.

That is the craziest icon i've seen yet, Wallflower. But as it gets later you won't be able to keep it cuz it will slow the system too much.
