Thoughts about the object. Clue 2 could mean a snow globe. Clue 3 could be a rose something. Clue 5 something to measure with Who knows. Maybe the worthwhile tip could be the item we're hunting for. Anything you dig up will be torn apart. Being the snow has been so compacted all over the park, a cool-whip container seems a bit large.
Someone wanted Sunshine... I'm here (joke.. HAHA) I really want to know what is the draw to Mounds. I mean come on if clue 8 didn't nail it on the head (is that BB or what) then #9 was a gimme.
Hmm, perhaps meeting in a group come clue time might be a viable plan, if one in that group would have a cell phone... Sure would save me the trouble of driving to the Press doors. :P
Old enough to drink and young enough to know I'm going to hate coming to work hung over yet deep down really enjoy the feeling. Hunting all my life I think, memories of Mom yelling "Put on your big boots you can always warm up in the car!'' No joke.
Morton from Motherlode and "Win no" from clue 7. Try reading the clues backwards. Clue 5 lead me to belive he or she was really letting more clues out if you looked for them. Devious I know since everyone is really only looking for one key thing out of each clue.
Ya, he told me. That was another reason I had to reread all the posts. Had to make sure he didn't embarrase me. By the way I'm 31, and started looking for the treasure when I was about 4 with my dad. As for my hubby, I talked him into coming with me tonight. I'll wear a white Whinny the Pooh hat. Damn!!! someone keeps calling me and bumping me off the internet.
Nimrod: Am home and in my "Beanie Baby" suit (one piece flannel deal!!!) and getting ready to get some (very little) sleep before the next clue. Think the Crew will have to have fortitude and dig on w/o moi. Nim, I GOTTA get some sleep!!!
But, then SOMEONE has to man the 'puter while the rest of The Crew is flailing away in the snow!!! Hint: It ain't Chippewa. Read the next line: "We don't whatever...." They're saying *not* Chippewa. Think Cherokee and far from where it was found the last time.
Gotta slog a bit more, then will be here. Guess I WON'T be getting any sleep after all!!! LOL!!!!
How in the world do you expect to find the medallion hunting from Denver? Don't worry, Jay and I will have it all under control by midnight tonight/morning!
Meeting other cooler crew is as cool as finding big bad medallion.Hard to find after Joe Medallion blew up park though!
12:15 to pick up the prize - be there.
So, what are the fables about the containers floating around? I've only deemed the coolwhip one worthy of acknowledgement
i'll pitch the icon...sorry guys i forgot
LAST CALL FOR ALCOHOL ! ! ! ! COUNT ME IN. LATER.
I'm ordering in PIZZA anyone in?
Hey everyone I'm hot on the trail, and I can taste the gold now!!!!!

We all need more SUNSHINE
Just out of curiosity, what is the age range here?
It could get violent if someone would find it and run off, but i dont that will happen.

Anyone else notice that the clues this year are lame to be wasting so many of them to simply show us that it's at CP?
34 Been diggin since I was 13 when me daddy took me for first time. This cooler adds way cool twist.
Well, time to go watch the news, see you guys at about 10:45 in here
or 12:00 at CP
Hi guys just read the past couple hours of posts
SUNSHINE how did you come up with Winona & Morton? P.S. count me in for being out there again tonight. Got ahold of a cell phone tonight.
SEARCHING- that's ok I'll be asleep in class too. Only I really should know better, I'm 27 and starting graduate school.
Someone wanted Sunshine... I'm here (joke.. HAHA) I really want to know what is the draw to Mounds. I mean come on if clue 8 didn't nail it on the head (is that BB or what) then #9 was a gimme.

45 - been hunting for 28 years.
I hate to give away my ideas but i feel you may need some help.
It is my belief that todays clue was referring to what the medallion is hidden in. I believe it's hidden in a cool whip container.
whip + hip(cool) = coolwhip.
and the reference to cape. well i'm listening if anyone has any ideas.
I guess I better head out, got to be at 345 Cedar by 10:45 to hear the latest gossip on the street. Hope to run into some PP*M*CC!
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE
As can tell by my jacket im in high school and 17. Ive been hunting since 92 seriously and 89 casually.
matt, are you interested in some hot coco after you find the medallion, you can fill me in on the details of your hunt.
What do all you Cooler people think of the rumor that some guy found it on Sunday?
ALL C.P. HUNTERS ARE PONTING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION!
Hmm, perhaps meeting in a group come clue time might be a viable plan, if one in that group would have a cell phone... Sure would save me the trouble of driving to the Press doors. :P

thanks einstein. Shovel suggested that last night after we saw the clue. It was nice of you, though!

If there are people at CP who are just digging to be digging, how did they know to go there?
I've talked to people who aren't really into the whole hunt thing and they think its at Mounds- go figure.
Are these people that desperate that they will just dig anywhere? Do they even know what they are looking for?
How sad.
Gray Beard,
Why do you say that? Q-Ball
does anybody know anything about "Crosby Park"...is it a 'St. Paul park'????
Hey!!! I say, what do you guys think of that rumor?
I'M HUNGRY .....GOT THE MUNCHIES TALK TO YOU ALL @ 10:45
LATER.
What time can we get the clue on line?
