A rumor is a rumor is a rumor. Been many the last few days. If it's been found, it will be posted here. No sense to pay any attention to anything else.
All I can say is if any of us found it we would do the right thing. RUN to PP and tell the the COOLER GANG I HAVE TO THANK THE COOLER GANG. Then take a week off work and go to Cozumel.
hi, I'm 38 been looking for about 8years but as a family on the east side we always tried to solve the puzzle just didn't go out. This is so much fun, guess I just really want the melldallion, money would be great too, but its the medallion I want. See you all soon.
nimrod: >laugh< How should I be taking that? I haven't tried looking at the clues backwards yet. Hmm.. I've got all the clues for this and the past 10 years (what was available to me on the net) on my HPC, I'll have that with. I'll have to toy with the wordgames again when I get bored.
Just got back from CP. Wish we could narrow it down a little more. People were digging from one end of the park to the other. Bonfire is nice and warm - met some nice (of course) PPMCC treasure hunters there. One woman there from Lino Lakes - says she's been hunting for five days! Wonder if anyone is up for a pancake breakfast in the bonfire ring tomorrow morning? If the hunt is still on, that is. Happy hunting!
Go BAck to Clue 4 First. To crack their Code they give you a "demo" of the mode to pursue. Not the real thing just a "demo" . (Now this is not stetching anything). But the real code would work the same way. With me so far?
I think maybe you're right...Its telling us we dont recommend Chippewa...too close to the previous CP burial spot... The man with the cape and whip for those who missed it earlier is a statue on the capitol of a man with a cape and whip.
as far as most of the diggers at CP...they are just digging aimlessly....I walk around most of the time Im there, trying to educate a good guess....But hopefully tonight will give the prize to the cooler gang.... Once again Ill be there around midnight with a black biker jacket and a white Combustible Edison logo on the back...Ive got better tools tonight... this has gotta be it guys..its gotta be! Good luck...
The only reason I do this is because I can't go out even if I wanted to. They wouldn't throw it in a stupid place they would put it in the one and only place you can look. The first letter of each clue- reading either frontwards or backwards. Her it is forward: AIRAWIITTA_ _. or _ _ATTIIWARIT. Now do the Demo=Mode thing and see if you can come up with something that either spells out properly or sounds right?!?
Just got back from CP, I really wish they would pinpoint the area to look in, Just remember if your toes get cold there is a really warm bonfire out there, Just look out for the drunk kids.
Shovel Boy: I have to agree. I don't understand anyone who goes out to the park, gets plastered, and digs around, not even able to comprehend what they're shoveling over their shoulders. It's worse than fishing drunk, I tell ya.
I came prepared today, unlike yesterday. Got lots of tools (thank god I have a large construction company background), got lots of clothes, bout the only thing I have less of is energy. I'm damn tired. But I know the next clue will soup up my adrenaline again, it sure did last night.
Take the first letter and write them down, then split the 12(10 so far ) in half put the back six in the front. See they say that clue 4 is just a demo, if so, then at some point along the line the code is used in a bigger more important manner.
If not Cozumel how about hire someone to find the person who is making me question why I come to work and not out at CP. My boss may have a few words for him or her as well. I think they may even consider this week part of my vacation, I've spent more time on the Cooler than in meetings. NOT GOOD. I better find it and buy everyone off.
Channel 5 news just showed someone at CP digging with a grain scoop. Had one of those head lamps. That would certainly help to have one of those. We always seem to be out at night. The medallion has NOT been found.
The reason these clues are so hard is we are also kind of clouding each other in a way..Know what I'm saying...That first letter clue..gets us thinking about something like that and maybe thats not it....Im working out some unscrambles here and the word traipsing has been bothering me....so heres what I got...
traipsing= Pirat Sign (the Landmark brewery...PigsEye)
Partings (where something separates.)
or
Fore-parting of the forest (parting for)
also bothers me that you cant ignore the chair...anybody been over to that giant green chair on the other side of the highbridge? Searched it for 3 hours on Sunday night....the spot has a giant statue with a very distinctive pointing feature that points at the chair...can see the power plant smoke...and from there I translated pyramids to mean piers, amid the snow. the 3 concrete rounded benches that surround the statue. According to dictionary definition those can be considered piers.
another idea about the container is an animal cracker box. the lion tamer has a whip and a cape (just a thought...i know the chippewa deal )
HEY!! I say its just a rumor. Personally I'd be so excited I couldn't hold on to it.
Would anyone be interested if I said I cracked the code?

Dumb blond here, not following you, Dave

I don't think thats it. Too many vowels
sound's like everybody is having fun
Are bonfires legal? Sure don't want to be causing any trouble that might shut this thing down!

Demo and moDe are anagrams for Dome
Hey Robert, you're on early. What's the latest word?
what's the reason for the search at the tennis courts at CP?
Robert, what do you know about 'Crosby Park'???
You can burn anything but palettes in St. Paul parks. Had that lecture from the police having weekly bonfires at Mounds over the summer.
not much just sign on
Maybe the whole first letter thing is an anagram then?
I'm gonna head out tonight with a generator and a portable warehouse
heater. Tomorrow Cherokee will look like spring hit it overnight.
Just don't get too close. I've seen boots welded to feet with
this thing.
(checks his pocket for battery operated fan and Bic lighter)

Palettes, as in what artists use?
Daves brain must be SMOKIN Brainstormin madman can hunt with me anytime.PROBABLY WONT FIND MED. BUT IT WOULD BE A GAS
Dave: Not to knock your idea, but I doubt they would do the first-letter thing again so soon after "BATTLE CREEK PARK" and "COMO IS NOT THE SPOT."
still think it is in mcdonough park near
highland
