Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
green
Ditto, Estaban.
Oh, can I talk you into making that 56'er a *green* JOE!!!!
(WHAT HAVE I COME TO???? I'M NOW BEGGING FOR JOES!!!!)
[green---------------------------------> running, screaming into the nite....]
tell your wife i'm sorry steve. i guess that's the sort of thing i complain about others not giving me fair notice about here. lol! you have my blessing in cc'ing everyone!
now see steve, if you were a woman, your handle could be artemis. the goddess of the hunt. or was that demeter? anyone know who the god of winter was? ya know, i took that classical mythology class 4 or 5 years ago at the u and still don't remember which diety was for what!
Well, I've learned to at least trust my own instincts a bit more. At Conway, when I first got out there, I was in exactly the right spot, but then later got all these elaborate clue interpretations in my head and started digging elsewhere. In the Newell hunt, I knew it was Newell on clue 4, but then thought that was too easy and there had to be something much more elaborate going on and I talked myself into going to Iris instead. And then last year I actually never did get on the right track as I started with the complex clue explanations right off the bat. So this year I'll be trying to remember the KISS strategy (Keep It Simple Stupid!)
just remember the occam's razor principle, allison.
of course then there's the converse too: when only one possibility is left, however illogical it may be, it must be the case. i wish i remembered what spock's exact line was there.
green i took the mythology class, figured it'd be an easy a in the junior-year precursor to the senior slide (which it was). i just can't remember what i learned. doesn't stop me from naming my 'puters after the greek pantheon though.
now if we could figure out who the god of the winter was, we'd have a new name for steve. pluto is on the tip of my tongue but pluto in rome was hades in greece, which is definitely not winter. doesn't even come close for that matter.
Green..why do you want 56? Plus..After slogging for so long, last thing I want to do is backtrack!!! Ares, I remember taking "The Classics" at the U. Just remember taking the class..nothing else.
Hi all! Jordenn, if you're who I think you are........welcome back.
ok so I'm goin through the tutor thingy and THX's name is brought up in some internet stalking thing, whats that all about?
Just my adoring fans.
maybe those are the payments he owes the county.
Could be. I'm still trying to work that one out with the county attorney. Still trying to figure out which county though. I keep looking for the e-mails.
more importantly, do you think scribe knows about them?
I tell my wife everything!
Wonder how many points that is worth?
THX. And, later in the discussion, someone pleads with sysop to remove the posts from the guy libeling THX.
I'm going to go for a bit. I found a couple of interesting jobs I want to apply for and will need both browsers here for some cutting and pasting. I'll be back before long though.
Thanks for the welcome back, THX! Yuppers, it's me... from last year. 'Member we ate at Mickeys, a bunch of us. Yep, yep, yep- that'd be me! How's was everyones din-din???

Hang on - I'm gonna take a look at T&J's site.
Well I'm back to spread some more of that Aquarian light and heat :-)
hey allison.
whoa. starting to look like a crew here again.
oh oh, that could be dangerous!
specially if mr scribe shows up!

Allison, you just 'light' the way, Sweetie - THE RITE WAY - and melt all that snow with your heat...
And I'll do, yet again, your bidding...
Like you talked me into digging out those friggin' lite standards at Conway...
:D
That's a great shot of DDY.
That one of Terry is sssssooooo cute!
Estaban, read up... I added to one o'my massages.
Diana/Aretmis, Ares.
Demeter was the goddess of growing/grain, I do belive.
diana/artemis was winter too green? or were you just confirming my hunt goddess?

Greek/Roman mythology classes work...
As does playing "Zeus"!!!! LOL!!!
Hunt. Diana/Artemis was the goddess of The Hunt. Roman/Greek.
just remember the occam's razor principle, allison.

I can't seem to get not another hollywood film to come up, ares will you type it in so I can see if i can get to it that way?
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. It was actually a Sherlock Holmes line.
And coulld it be the god of winter was Boreas? hehe
Because ittiz MY number, Dufus. Look, you owe me. Yust do it.
Ares, I don't remember gods for seasons. They [those guys bock then] didn't get involved with that...

Go bock and "Edit" it....
Oh! FORGET IT!!!!
I still can't get in, must be my puter.
Boreas was neither Roman or Greek.
Geek, maybe. But not Roman or Greek.
Uggh.
LLady, just go to the top o'your screen here (where we are now), and type in:
www.notanotherhollywoodfilm.com
And if that doesn't work, get a new window, go to Yahoo, and do a search on Not Another Hollywood Film, or medallion hunt.
Try those... And lettuce know...
