Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

Can't BELIEVE I made it awake for the Work Rush!
ONE MORE WAKE-UP!!! TOMORROW IT ALL STARTS AGAIN!!!!!
Good morning all... Checking in from work for the last time before the hunt begins. I can't wait to see that first clue that tells us it is in a park, not on a golf course, and in St. Paul. :-)
oh yeah. been practicing the sleep deprivation techniques, the posting from work techniques. still have to work on the digging style, but i've got a few more days for that. which reminds me, i should probably put the garden spade in the trunk tonite.
Ha Ares, thats funny- I was so tired this morning-we all got moving late - and all I thought about was how tonight was my last night of a good nights rest and looking forward to the adrenolin of 1-4 hrs of sleep!
By the way-all this history DOES help with the medallion hunt because in some way, either a person or a place or a year will eventually help hunt it down in the clues some year, I am sure of it! And make you a better Minnesotian/Minnesotan! >>> Minnesotian was one of the 1st newspapers in St.Paul.

There is so much I gotta do today, and I don't wanna do any of it. I wanna crawl bock into bed where ittiz warm. It even *looks* cold outside!

Mornin' Sam
well frosti, marley refilled the pot!
mornin ralph.
I had my brother over for a couple of homebrews last night, and the peepers just don't want to open this morning.
Frosty, I take it your a Johnny Cash fan?
What makes you say that? lol
I'm psychic!
Actually, I had to look it up. I knew I'd heard it before but couldn't remember where.
and that's what tortures me
since we've got so many people in here who seem to have some sort of psychic ability, jt, why is it that not one of us has found the puck yet?
Maybe it's interference. All those psychic waves getting tangled together and pointing to the wrong place?
Ares & Frosty,
I never said I was a good psychic. :-)
ahh. i understand.
Marnin Sams!
I gotta tell ya'll it was great to slog through a whole night and mark posts that I liked for once!!
Hi Scribe! Who loves ya baby?
its about time you showed up scribe. i was worried for a sec that we wouldn't make 10000 posts before the hunt started :)
what up what up!
The ceiling
I crack myself up!

:: wonders why don't i get a "norm!" style response when i walk in ::
haha...what's going on Ares...gettin' ready for the big day or what?? It's right around the corner!
oh yeah. been practicing the sleep deprivation techniques, the posting from work techniques. still have to work on the digging style, but i've got a few more days for that. which reminds me, i should probably put the garden spade in the trunk tonite.
Garden Spade in Trunk I can't forget that either...
Garden Spade
I'll bring the rototiller!
it goes along well with the post hole digger and snow shovel i keep in there year-round!
oh come on scribe, why not just bring a blowtorch and melt all the snow away :)
MMMMM.....blowtorch!
I could just dig wit you......you got more hot air than a blowtorch!:)
the door was open and I walked right in.
you got more hot air than a blowtorch!:)
and if you light a match behind me..... um ok i'm going to get back to work, or at least trying to create a reasonable facsimile thereof :)
Mental note to bring matches.
Hi! I am here but am trying to catch up on the morning gab and all the emails from the Yahoo AW club. Goodmorning!
Ha Ares, thats funny- I was so tired this morning-we all got moving late - and all I thought about was how tonight was my last night of a good nights rest and looking forward to the adrenolin of 1-4 hrs of sleep!
Hi ME2!
Just got a bunch of stuff done...and now my five year old has a made a complete mess out of the house cutting out snowflakes!
ha ha ha ha ha
mine are both in school!
(saying this with that teasing voice) :)
my 2 are 5 1/2 and 10.
Then you have plenty of time to come over and help me clean up this mess!!:)
My son just told me his motivation was to make all these paper snowflakes so he could sell them at the pre-dig gig......
Thats my little capitalist!
not a bad idea. Maybe that is a good start to recoop the $10,000 that you are not gonna get! :)
Actually out of all the people in the Cooler I hope you are one of the lucky to find it some year. :)
Oh I'm gonna get it!
Someday!!
dang it anyway, be right back-my coffee got cold already. I need to go "top it off" upstairs in the kitchen. It is so darn cold down here!
ok, Minnesota History FACT #1 for the day: Minnesota became a Territory in 1849 and a State on May 11, 1858.
OK. Fact #2?
I could keep going.
Minnesota History Fact #2 : The first Governor of the Territory of Minnesota was Henry S. Sibley.

Uhm, "Minnesota lakes names range from the common-there are 201 Mud Lakes, 154 Long Lakes, and 123 Rice Lakes-to the uncommon-Mugwump Lake"
