Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

I posted a list of all the parks on my website along with a rating for each one in terms of how likely I thought it was to be the right park. I don't want to post it here though because formatting it to make it sufficiently legible would be a huge pain.
my people still posting, its bedtime for me, i just realized i had more beer than food today, by far, and i feel completly fine. oh pinto, picked up a present for ya.
Well as I can see that no one is in here yet this morning. Sorry that I did not attend last night I had prior plans. As for the clue I have not seen anyone mention the neglect of telling hunters to stay away from Golf Courses the past few years it has been made clear in the first clue not to go near them. Perhaps it is at a park with a golf course? I know Como has a golf course but it is hard to interfear with Como golf course. When I first read the clue and heard spark I said fire works. However I am changing my mind there and liking that is may be in a match box.. Just a thought... Anyway not much more to noodle over this clue... Except it is not a normal clue and if any of you get the paper I don't like to new format they are using in the paper for the clue.. I already called on that. I will see most of you back in here today though.. Enough from me....
Phillip they did the golf course in the rules this year.
The Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt medallion is hidden on public land in Ramsey County, but not at Harriet Island, on a golf course or at Como Zoo. The Pioneer Press reserves the right to discontinue the Hunt at any time if public property is destroyed.
I thought the medallion was an inanimate object??? Yet we are supposed to let it search in us??? That's a new approach...you don't need to go find the medallion...it will come and find YOU! So, be alert, folks...watch for an approaching blue hockey puck...

mornin heads! wow, I think this is the latest i've slept in a long time! I think far and wide means it's gonna be a big park, spark I think I'm goin w/ match book also.
Pretty quite here this morning. Everybody must be getting into the treasure hunt mode. Up all night sleep late into the day waiting for the next clue to come out.
Hi! Surpisingly little action here. Was supposed to work today, and when my boss told me to send somone home, I sent myself! Being your own boss is hard work, but it also has its perks.
Thanks, Tim. I have been hitting 'refresh' at the top of my screen as well, but when it asked to repost I would say 'no' so then instead I would hit the button for 'previous messages' and then 'more'. The next time I hit refresh it didn't ask me and it was o.k. to do it then. I forget these things every year - once again Thanks.
Question:they mention about clipping out the clues from the newspaper-do they have to be from each consecutive paper? I question because usually each paper shows all of the previous clues-is that valid enough or do all daily original clues have to be clipped out? I'd rather clip one section with all the clues rather than having to clip out each daily clue.

didn't terry almost find it that year
Yes, Terry had the earmuffs, but thought someone lost them and told her daughter to put them back where she found them.
Yep, Terrys Daughter picked them up and Terry told her to put them back, what a bummer.
I checked the past clues, and the year it was at the Capitol, they never mentioned the word "park", so I guess that would rule that out.
Yeah that's what i thought, thats a kicker.
So what were the thoughts about "FAR AND WIDE"
Well it's pretty late and I'm getting sleepy. Not much more that can really be done now. Guess it's time for bed.
Scd's Allison! The Hunt begins :) Sleep well
Marly liked the Far and Wide part, said something about a BIG park, or possibly a large open field
Crosby Farm or Battlecreek maybe
I'm outta here, talk it easy all. Get the sleep now cause there won't be anytime in a few days
Sleep well! SCD's

Grinding the beans and filling the coffee pot with Columbian Supremo..
Cokes and various juices chillin...
bowl of fruit and plate of muffins waiting...
lights on...doors unlocked...
