Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
well i figure by the time i get around to actually digging i should be fine. of course if you ask scribe, this is all just a plot to keep up the myth of my existence. :)
all i know step is that i do not like this clue-writer's poetry ability. i hope they get better soon. i agree that the only thing to noodle is "far and wide" and "light a spark"
Aces4ever- Those Beer cans show up quite a bit at estate sales and garage sales (I see them a lot) sell for $1 - $3 each. Ebay sometimes too. Weather they are still full or not-I don't know.
And-I want to stear twords Capitol Mall because of the co-ink-i-dinks: I just saw Star Wars Menace (may the force of the medallion guide you-let it come to you) I love that!
And I just found out 5 minutes ago that I won a pack of St paul playing cards on Ebay that have the State Capitol on the first card.
Not just the clues--It's the "FORCE" :)
I like the idea of seeing fireworks at the capitol too.
I am stil here- I was there last night - I just went to get dressed just now - I gotta run to SA for a button still-heard it has to be postmarked by today--downtown postoffice will postmark it still today. nothing like waiting til the last minute- that is very like me!
I am watching the game and talking to you all at the same time-Oh yah? men concentrate on one thing and cannot multi-task well! :)
Ares-you were not at McGoverns last night so you didn't get to see all the excitement---I didn't see it posted all night either so you probly didn't hear yet about the 1st clue & Wisconsin...do I get to be the one to say or does everyone know?
I was going to go to the party last night too, but I had my kids at the Science Museum, and it got to be 8pm before we left etc. etc. etc. Needless to say, I never got there.
Let me add to both theories. spark could also mean the statue of liberty sculpture. (what park is it in???) also far & wide a park on the outskirts of St. Paul but lets make it a WIDE park (going farther east to west, than north to south) not to mention that the PP seems to be scraping the bottom of the barrol when they got a clue writer this year. It barely even rhymes.
ok Ares--The jist of it is......PP put the wrong clue in the Wisconsin Sunday edition today! Not the same clue that you see right now in the Minnesota edition!
Hey DQ - That Statue of Liberty downtown on the bldg. is a "warm fuzzy" for me daily to look up at her--I told my husband that if we ever had enough $$ I wanted her terribly! She is not in a park (??)
Heres what happened, was about to leave the PP after buying the paper with the first clue. This girl comes down and said "If you have the Wisconson paper, they put the wrong clue in it." Naturally we had to get a hold of that clue, and to make a long story short, Me2 had the brilliant idea of calling the Country Market store in Hudson and it turns out it was clue no. 1 from last year in their paper!!!
How is everyone doing in here today?
what's up Phil
Its going good Step Dog... how about with you?
Marley King, still having trouble w/ your site (java) :-(
pretty good...I wish I could be out diggin' already!!
I hear ya... My girl friend... said lets go digging now.. It is her first year... I had to tell her to save her energy for a few days...
yeah phil...too early to tell now!!
Exactly... However I have my pre-clue parks I like..
hurting, step. now that the shoulder's stopped aching it's revealed the other body aches that had been concealed :)
what are you so sore from?
skiing. well actually, falling, and plowing the slope with my shoulder.
well you better get better!! Got lots of diggin to do soon!
well i figure by the time i get around to actually digging i should be fine. of course if you ask scribe, this is all just a plot to keep up the myth of my existence. :)
hey...do you think the first clue has any meaning? I kind of get the impression that it is at a park on the outer edges of St. Paul.
search "far and wide" but have no fear because it's still in St. Paul.
Am I looking to deep already?
all i know step is that i do not like this clue-writer's poetry ability. i hope they get better soon. i agree that the only thing to noodle is "far and wide" and "light a spark"
Annie B- The Capitol Mall was originally Central Park donated in 1884 by the same man who owned my house!
Ares - I agree...The clue doesn't flow like they usually do...I hope it will get better too.

Hey Ares, Hey Tim, how the heck are you guys? Did you guys go to the party last night?
Awwww, common. Did everybody leave? I wanted to noodle!!!!
I am stil here- I was there last night - I just went to get dressed just now - I gotta run to SA for a button still-heard it has to be postmarked by today--downtown postoffice will postmark it still today. nothing like waiting til the last minute- that is very like me!

hey dq. no i wasn't at the gig last nite. as for where everyone is, most are probably watching pittsburgh wail on baltimore.
oh sure football. lol. Don't feel to bad me I have to get my button squared away today too.
Ares-you were not at McGoverns last night so you didn't get to see all the excitement---I didn't see it posted all night either so you probly didn't hear yet about the 1st clue & Wisconsin...do I get to be the one to say or does everyone know?
for those of you NOT watching the game----touchdown Stealers!
I was going to go to the party last night too, but I had my kids at the Science Museum, and it got to be 8pm before we left etc. etc. etc. Needless to say, I never got there.
I didn't go til 8:15 and some of us were still there to 1 am. Marley King, Jake and the santa looking man. GOTTA close the bar down!
soooo let's noodle. I like the 2 theories of spark=fireworks, and far & wide=a park on the outskirts. now for my own noodling...
go ahead and say, me2.
is downtown more east or west in the city?
go ahead and say, me2.
Oh no dont get jake going again!
downtown is more east in St. Paul---- and south too!
oh no---fumble! aaaahhhhhh Wow poor Baltimore
Hey MK -Jake is not here-but I was with him and it was very interesting to be apart of it.

Good Afternoon!
I'm sure not everyone has heard the story about the Wisconsin paper. Someone should tell it.
Good to see ya Piano man! It'll be fun to see some others get posting here too that haven't before!
I would think downtown would be considered central rather than east, west, north or south.
so what's the clue in the wi edition? hopefully something better than what's here?
Me2, what r u talking about??? please explain..
ter, i was just thinking about getting a bearing from downtown, ya know for green's small nor'east park theory. far and wide from, say, downtown?
hi Terry, how r u doing this year???
