Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
Liquor Lady

Hey..after slogging through todays posts, I have a couple of comments to make.
Scribe - I love the emphasis on Burns and Belvedere. Keep the humor coming.
Me2 and Allison - how could you fail on a hunter's natural instinct to register on time? Me2...the Winter Carnival Foundation will not accept the cards without a postmark.
Because I'm the nice guy that you all know me to be, I promise to let you use my button registration to claim the prize should you find it.
I guess I would say McGovern's may actually be close to being as good as it gets unless you want to start charging people a "cover charge". Of course it would be sort of cool if we could rent a hall or something and have more of a formal party all to ourselves, but that would be hard to arrange I think.
Hi everyone. It was great to meet some of you lastnight. I read the Charles Schultz idea and just wanted to remind everyone that the ice arena at Highland is named after him.
Thanks Steve. I'm kind of hoping though that they don't pay attention to the postmarks on the cards they get Monday and Tuesday and just enter them into a database and trash the cards. :-)
The sad thing is that since most everyone else digging with me this year is a first time digger, I don't think any of them registered buttons either. I guess i won't worry too much though unless I actually find it.
med kids - hows is the work going over past clues. I am doing the same thing, as times alows, maybee we can compare and then post them befor to many lurkers get involved
New Daddy, I had gone through the clues since 1990 and coded them, but someone else had gone through with a rundown of the 6-11 clues and posted them. They did something similar to mine, so I just didn't do much more with it

Steve, You'd be better off clearin those firepits in Como again!
AW-your making me feel like I am one of those beauties at the Golden Globes Party by thinking formal-hence, won't happen :).
TTHG- You are a sweetheart if that is the case. I really did have good intentions :(
Lookit here Allison and Me2.....you know if you find the thing you can use our registration for a nominal fee..:)
Well Me2, the only think you need to be a beauty at the Golden Globes is to be at the Golden Globes ;-)
You're welcome Me2. Scribie, the pits are goin down.
Hidden Falls has fire pits Steve!
med kids - hows is the work going over past clues. I am doing the same thing, as times alows, maybee we can compare and then post them befor to many lurkers get involved
They're goin down too.
hey, I really like the Charles S. ideas-he is throughout St Paul in so many ways that it really is a versitile clue.
::Scribey shakes her head::
Steve, with you in the pits and the Wolfpac in Hidden falls we need to get some sort of electric shock devices.
Allison, your not helping! have you no mercy? Have you no compassion for your fellow troubled hunting commrades??
If Wolfie has 'em covered -then we're good.
I'm gonna dig up Linwood...it's there I know it is!
By the way, did anyone get a number for the snow cover on the ground yesterday?
I think I may head to Cherokee to check those too!
oh Scribe got some info for you--but AW will probly correct me somehow :)
Lin(wood)+spark=fire
I can stop by Linwood on my way to Cherokee.
Me2,you finally gonna tell me or do I hafta beat it outta ya?:)
New Daddy, I had gone through the clues since 1990 and coded them, but someone else had gone through with a rundown of the 6-11 clues and posted them. They did something similar to mine, so I just didn't do much more with it
LINWOODS MINE,MINE,ALL MINE!
Evenin' all!
Thanks for all the tips cooler crew. You're the best!
If you want to dig up Linwood Scribe, take Me2 with you. She knos all about that park now ;-)
maybe this will help you find it at Linwood-
It has 16 acres of land, aquired in 1909, it is on a bluff (duh), and was named for the basswood tree, American linden.
did that help any? :) Good Luck :)
Steve, with you in the pits and the Wolfpac in Hidden falls we need to get some sort of electric shock devices.
Ha Ha Ha Wouldn't you be suprised if it was there this year.
See, now if Linwood is 16 acres, then the Capitol Mall can certainly be 36.
I agree AW but still are questioning Mears 1/6 mile thing
Actually Wolfie...I predict it will be in HF, now that HI was ruled out.
Yeah,Me2 told me she found a treasure at Linwood.....sorry baby, but thats my park and you'll have to turn it over!:)
Glad to help ya'll out there Steve, sorta set you straight and all...
