Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
I made a guess that that room fit about 50 or so comfortably. With the comings and goings and the almost SRO for awhile, I'd say somewhere in the neighborhood of 100.
thanks for the link wabbit. that's what i was thinking. also, thanks for the inspiration. if you'd added one more word, the have, methinks i wouldn't have noodled that out. of course green would have come in here and done it for me though.
A tee shirt seems like a large thing. But, it could be anything.
Also, it is tempting to think it will be in something red, white, and blue, but this is easy to see. Especially in a year without much snow. That would be stupid on their part.
Seems like it will have to be something small and hard to see to make this thing go on for awhile.
Ian, what I did get was wonderful, cold, and very sweet of you. I just think you going to all the trouble like - long time since a waitress has just shown up and said, "This is for you..." - that was neat. Thank you very much.
Howdy, Annie.
Ian, I think that's the name! LOL!!! I know it was two letters and the second was 'e'. Payne and Arcade? Or at least on Arcade.
Anyway, that's where Button Hat Man told me I should go to look for '56.
Ter, I think 100's a pretty good estimation. That's my guess, too.
How about all you wrestling fans. Didn't Hulk Hogan wear a bandana that said "No Fear." What if the bandana was hidden with the medallion in a white match box?
Good! That's the number I gave Greg. I had tried to do a head count when the room was full but not packed and estimated from there. The only way to get an accurate count would have been a signin sheet.
Been busy dealing with yucky house stuff all day, finally had dinner and got a chance to slog through the day's messages. There's some interesting noodling going on at this early stage in the game! I dunno, I don't think you can read too much in to the first couple of clues, myself - but you never know when the cluewriter might throw some *meaningful* word in there.
I really should try to wind down here for the night, but I also should know better. I can't go to bed without seeing what the next clue will bring! I *know* it probably won't mean much - but I gotta read it. Think I'm gonna go get things ready for the morning, and maybe even go to bed for a couple hours.
Typical o'Mom (and Dad via her) to not take proper credit and tell me *you* did it all. I'll have to 'tsk-tsk' her about that.
Shamey, Mom! Shamey! :D
Thank you - all three o'you - for busting arse to have them there last nite!!!! It was so nice not to be frustrated and have to wait!!! :D
LLday, my take is we're in for the Hunt o'our lives. Think we've pissed off sumbuddy and they've said, "Otay. We're gonna FIX THEM!!!" and this will be one HECK of a Hunt to noodle.
I think our mettle's gonna be tested. ROFLOL!!!
New clue writer, different sequence than we've become used to, more general and vague clues ssssllllooooowwwwly narrowing things down to a small park. Think we may go the max on this puppy.
Been looking forward to this for quite some time. Not many of u know me, but i been cooling and noodling with u people since day one. Just testing my first post. Im sure there will be plenty more. Good article in the pp there Med Hunt
Yes I have Ares, I have yet to meet any of u in person yet. I been out looking for all the morning diggers with arm bands but i never find them any where...hmmmm....I bet i was at the wrong park once again!?!? hahaha
Hi all. I was just looking at some old clues from a possible diffrent clue writer than the past few years to see the difference in style. (90-93). Not only was the prose different but the first few clues told more and the latter clues were more vague. ie the first clue would say it was in st paul and Landmark or street. but the later clues5-9 seamed less helpful than recent years
Hey Green!
So what vintage WC button you looking for?
Youan yoh stinkn Jose's.
all of a sudden it just hit me, green.
Three guesses... LOL!!!
Ditto, Ares.
Old Navy... Iron Man... No Fear...
They make more than just t-shirts, I believe... Could be another juvenile's sox...
1956 ?
Hello. I recognize a few people here.
Hi Joe Green.
Yuppers! :D Ittiz not the prettiest I've ever seen. Damn ugly in fact! Red and white with a silly teddy bear in the middle.
But, that's life. Saw one today, and while I don't have the inclination to collect all the WC buttons, I think it would be nice to have that one.
Ittiz more important to me to have all the CC buttons than the WC buttons.
J & E Antiques ??
Any guesses on the number of people last night?
hello everyone
Green:
Sorry they didn't have the huge ones ;-(
Hi Angie
I looked at the no fear site. Weird, I couldn't quite figure out what they were getting at.
Certainly, a patriotic bent. Check out a few of their T shirts. Some ass kicking going on there.
www.nofear.com, I believe
are we all hangin around for the next clue
I really need to find it so you all can help me out K

This lurker just jumped to the good side!!!!
Well, maybe this is my 11th year. Seems like a long time since I hauled that green blanket out of the river at lilydale.
I got to get off this computer. Maybe a jog, down to Irvine (because it's close and there is no better place to go)
Good! That's the number I gave Greg. I had tried to do a head count when the room was full but not packed and estimated from there. The only way to get an accurate count would have been a signin sheet.
welcome to the fold, thunder.
I just love it!!!!
Another lurker taking the plunge!
No fear!!!

Llady, was ssssoooo nice to meet you last nite! I thought your outfit was darling!

on to something relevant. what're *your* thoughts on the clue?
thank you green! my mom got a good laugh when she saw the pic on marly and queen kal's site.
green - for the record, those buttons are a team effort. Couldn't be done without the team effort with E&H's Mom and Dad. Glad you liked them.
ummmmmmm.... bein it's only the first clue, I still like scribes Idea with "burns" ave park, I'ts a small park but still worth checkin out.
Typical o'Mom (and Dad via her) to not take proper credit and tell me *you* did it all. I'll have to 'tsk-tsk' her about that.

that's ok brew man, i can count on one hand the number of people here who have actually met the elusive ares in person :)
nah brew, most of us saving our energy for later when the hunt heats up, not much to go on yet!
yeah ares! you better be out there this year so some of us can finally see you!
Really? I thought I met you somewhere Brewman? Maybe that was someone else.
