It took a while to get the sugary loaf thing, but the masses seem to think it's a Babe Ruth (baseball, candybar) reference. The yellow stone most thought pointed to Wyoming st. But there are plenty of interpretations out there. Don't quite know what to think now.
Don't know if it means the med is between wyoming and annapolis somewere near or in the ball diamond, or if the Winona idea really holds water. Seems like the Winona thing would be a bit to obscure for this late in the game. They need to print something that most people would know.
I was looking for the cooler crew last night but only ran into jake836 in line for the paper at about 10:30. Drove by where I thought the foundation was but didn't see anyone. Deb, HollyWood - were you there?? I stopped by the bonfire around 9 and watched two guys throwing cinders from the fire at each other. Joked about how when he caught on fire we'd all throw snow chunks at him to put him out and find the medallion when the snow chunk broke in two off his head. Sorry for the rambling... I'm tired.
I'm completely amazed that it wasn't found last night. That place was ripped apart (again!) inch by inch. It's gotta be in something mighty small to not have turned up yet.
Hey everybody i'm back after some sleep. I couldn't get in after the clue was given out last noght so i went to bed. i've missed a lot of the discussion, is there really a yellow brick wall or is it really a reference to wyoming street?
SueBee: I was at the bonfire around 9PM last night, too! Saw the two little boys drinking and playing with fire - stuff like that pulls the average IQ of medallion hunters down. Were you the one from Lino Lakes? I am hooked on this hunt, but I don't get much opportunity to search - job demands are high right now; so little time, so much snow!
Good luck to you in the search! All of us CoolerPhiles should meet somewhere for coffee. Does everyone know there's a nice little coffee shop at Doddway Shopping Center? At Smith and Dodd, east end of the strip. Lattes and everything!
Eagle Eye, no I'm a native St. Paulite. I (and my boyfriend) were standing on the bluff side of the fire ring talking to two other guys. I had a black Spider ski jacket and a red ear band on.
Saw you there. I was talking to the woman from Lino Lakes and the guy sitting on the fire ring with his back to you. I was on the Chippewa side of the ring; I was with my son and sis-in-law; the little drunk boys were accusing my son of having the medallion. Do you know who the guy in the camoflage jacket was? Very tall, dark hair.
This is my first post to the water cooler but I have been listening since the beginning. Want to say that I really hope one of you from the Cooler gets this thing. Can't seem to let this medallion thing go...find myself logging on during work all day. Anyone out digging now?
Just moved to the East side from Los Angeles this year. Grew up in White Bear, but left for 7 years. Couldn't wait to return to Minnesota to find the medallion.
I was out last night from 6-12:30. A little foolish going that early, but couldn't stand sitting around the house away from the action. Will be out tonight, but not 'til later. Gotta stake out a good sight and wait for the clue at 11.
Sugar loaf is a cone shaped mountain or hill! Yellowstone is in Wyoming! Need further information just ask! I know the spot within 50 feet all clues line up!!!
hey how about the pitchers mound on the baseball diamond... in the Hudson double line of division is delaware (west st paul & mendota heights) and annapolis...we all know that one-- babe ruth sounds good...WHAT DO YOU THINK???
I am not really here. This is all a phigment of your imaginations... I'm actually, really, for real... slaving away, hard at work. Yes, I am. Yup. Yes sir.
Eagle Eye, you have just been appointed PPMCC Chief of Setting Up Crew Coffee Clatch. Best find a large place - I think there will be one or two of us. Too, do we have to have it in the wee hours of the a.m.??? (whine) I get sssssoooo sleepy. <g>

I even had a big ol' sign taped to my back that said "PPCC SueBee" on it. I was getting some strange looks. Where were you, Cooler Crew??
Now that I'm awake, I can't decide between taking the morning off and going hunting, and actually showing up to work. What a dilemma.
I'm completely amazed that it wasn't found last night. That place was ripped apart (again!) inch by inch. It's gotta be in something mighty small to not have turned up yet.
Ok, I'm hogging the converstation. Where is everyone?
Well, I'd better hustle and get to work. Ugh. Tonight sure will be interesting. GO COOLER CREW!!

Hmmm, server won't take me to the latest clues. I'll try it this way.
Didn't make it out last night either, these clues are blowing my mind. Tonight will be very interesting.
Good morning! Did anyone watch the news this morning? KARE 11 mentioned something about, I'm not sure here, Mary Wirth Park?

MP Burns: How late did you hunt last night? Any plans to hunt tonight?
