Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
Hey, everyone. My office building was evacuated this morning for about 2 1/2 hours. Luckily, it's located by the Mall of America. Went shopping for a while. But I was just loggin in when the power went out. What is the consensus here as what park or parks are being scouted?
I also read for the first time this year's rules. They've changed from last year. Not sure why you can turn in handwritten clues and/or printed from the computer. The paper didn't seem clear if the handwritten and/or computer clues were just for Cub Foods or if it was also for the PP with the medallion. Does anyone know the true facts?
I'm actually doubling up on the clues. I have a set that "If" I happen to find the medallion, I'd turn it in. However, I want a set for my medallion binder that I keep all the paper clipped clues inside. I don't want to give those away.
THX, here's my earlier post: I can even make the clues fit . . . Indian Mounds park. "Light a spark" = Burns Ave, borders Indian Mounds. Mounds = hills. "Time to kill" = set in Mississippi = Mississippi river, which borders the park.
TD - I e-mailed PP and this is their response - Thank you for your recent inquiry to the Pioneer Press. We would prefer that actual daily clipped clues are submitted, however, due to sweepstakes law, we will also accept copies of each daily clue or hand written clues. Hope this answers your question.
It would make sense that the clues be newspaper clippings for the medallion winnings, and handwritten/computer generated for Cub Foods. I don't know why I'm so concerned about this. I guess a few people are telling me that it also means for turning in the medallion with non-newspaper clippings.
Highland - I don't really recall a hilly place that doesn't have woods around it at Highland. I videotaped Highland a few years ago. Will have to look at the tape tonight when I get home.

thx, your tagline reminds me of another quote:
"Daddy drinks because you cry."
"Daddy drinks because you cry."
Ohhhhh, that's evil.
Wish I could be out scoping parks out.
WHERE IS JAKE
THX, What parks would you scope?
My top guess right now is Mounds but, I still say it's to early to guess.
Hidden falls maybe. Cherokee.
WHERE IS EVERYONE
THX, are you serious about Mounds? Why? Did you happen to see my post earlier today about that park?

No, I didn't see your post.

I don't know but, to be safe I'd get the clues from the paper.
no purchase is necessary to win.handwritten/printouts must be good 4 all

Does that mean for Cub Foods though? I don't have the newspaper rules clipping with me.

I think it's a little early to dig. Maybe tomorrow night's clue will narrow down to 2 parks and then go digging then.

about jake.
Scribe was out at a park just now with our 5 year old.
He was upset that he didn't get to go on the swings because they didn't have time.
Scribe had to pinky swear that next time they'd do the swings.
LOL!
about jake.
Oh! Got it. I thought you were refering to something earlier cuz TD said something.
Full Boat JOE!
does highland include both sides of montreal and the area near the two water towers? anyone please
Sean, you need a Treasure Hunter's Guide. And, having left mine at home, I can't accurately answer your question.
Highland does include the water towers and hunters should not be near the water towers.
does highland include both sides of montreal and the area near the two water towers? anyone please
thx digger, but the area around the towers is game as long as you stay away from the towers?
the only place that's "on limits" at highland is what's east of edgecumbe/hamline, sean. everything else is golf course.
