I didn't get much in terms of insight and new ideas from the Cooler, but I did have some great conversation! :) All my developing was from me, and talking to others on site at CP. Since I was digging no more then 5 yards away from where it was supposedly found for the past two days, I think I did a good job, no?
I WAS ABOUT NOT EVEN 5 FEET AWAY FROM THEM WHEN THEY FOUND IT. PLUS I THINK THEY JUST PUT THE MEDALLION THERE BECAUSE WHY WERE THE CHANNEL 5 NEWS CREW EXACTLY THERE RIGHT ON TIME RIGHT WHEN THEY FOUND IT? COINCIDENCE? I HIGHLY DOUBT IT. I SPENT AT LEAST 100 HOURS AT CHEROKEE LOOKING FOR THAT DAMN THING. I LOOKED WHERE THEY FOUND IT 3 NIGHTS AGO AND I DID NOT SEE THE CRACK THERE ON THAT TREE. I THINK IT IS SETUP. WHAT DO ALL OF U THINK ABOUT THE NEWS CREW BEING THERE?
Joe- I'm hurt. I made your least favorite list? Hey, if you want a ride to the picnic, 11:30 a.m. Sunday, at Cherokee, just let me know. I'll come pick you up (seeing as how your car's in the shop and all...)
You're one of my least favorite because you heckled me when you already knew that I was kidding! By the way, I can just walk to the picnic. Thanks, anyways!
Hi all -- I would just like to say that I have been addicted to the water cooler since it started last week! I've put out a couple of ideas, but they didn't pan out. Oh well, you guys did a good job deciphering and I hope one of you finds it next year!! Thanks for taking up my work day -- maybe now I can finally get something done!!
I second that emotion. Iam from New Jersey and i tell you they would never do what we all did in the last 11 days. One thing i can say about minnesotans and saintpaulits spacificly is that you can have fun at 1'oclk in the night in the middle of winter with a snow shovel.
Hey Cooler Crew thanks for the TALK.....My brother from Chicago, brother from White Bear and myself & 2 sons from Pittsburgh PA did some digging until we had to fly back...... but were able to stay in the hunt from IL and PA with your talk.......wait til next year!!!!!!
Ok, to reiterate: PP Cooler Crew Re-Hash party Sunday, February 8. Cherokee Park. Starts 11:30am (thanks Greenslvs for making it when I can get there!!) Bring what you want to eat. There are grills and at least two Coleman stoves to share. Wear something white that's out of the ordinary for winter (bandana, tube sock on your arm etc...)AND if you will, a nametag of some sort with your "handle" on it so we know who's who. Actually, I can bring sticky name tags and a marker. It's going to be a great time!!!
Thanks to everybody for making this so much fun. I'll definately be back next year.
Well just to let you know, it might sound funny but thay had a news crew there @ 2:00 a.m. in the morning! :)) It was very cold but thay had there cameras out and filming. Thay new it was there, but I don't think thay new where.
