Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

Jennee dont go to newelll but if you do go to 94 to snelling north to university west to fairview go right down to Pierce Butler and it is right there on your right
Phalen and Higland are both parks that are large and havent hosted it in awhile (esp. Phalen) I wouldn't be surprised if it was in one of those parks. I think we can get down to business when the next clue is given. We always put the correct park into consideration after 5
Good point Lisa's mommy, there's a whole lot of Phalen that isn't in the Guide. The park goes all the way around the lake. Wouldn't that be funny if they put it in a park that's in the guide, but in a portion that isn't featured, knowing most of us will ignore it if it's not printed there? All hail the Holy Guide and all?
that would be hilarious, frosti. even more so if they put it in the part of the park that's in maplewood just for confusion. phalen is, after all, a st. paul park, even the part that's in maplewood.
don't know about east shore road. the southern part is pretty open, and it does come down from that long hill, certainly plenty of trees up in there. that would fit with down the hill, away from the woods. hmmm. i'll have to think on that one.
jennee, the tides are caused by the gravitational pull of the moon on the large body of water. it may not be noticeable (and would be on any lake we'd be hunting at_, but lakes can indeed have them. now if you want a river with tides, i believe it's the st. john's river in nova scotia that has a "tide". to a point where when the bay of fundy is at high tide, the river actually changes direction and flows inland.
"The word "tides" is a generic term used to define the alternating rise and fall in sea level with respect to the land, produced by the gravitational attraction of the moon and the sun. To a much smaller extent, tides also occur in large lakes. Additional nonastronomical factors such as configuration of the coastline, local depth of the water, ocean-floor topography, and other hydrographic and meteorological influences may play an important role in altering the range, interval between high and low water, an times of arrival of the tides.
I think my tour tonight will consist of MOUNDS for sure, maybe another fly by of Phalen, Not thinking to much of Highland but I don't know much about the park so I might as well drive by it...I have only been looking for the medallion for 4 years so I don't know all the parks yet. What are peoples thoughts of Crosby I was reading some interesting things about that tooo...

Can I say something? Lakes do not have TIDE.. Only rivers and oceans do
that would be hilarious, frosti. even more so if they put it in the part of the park that's in maplewood just for confusion. phalen is, after all, a st. paul park, even the part that's in maplewood.
does anyone know if there's any place downtown st paul where i can buy the treasure guide?
Rivers do not have tides, either, unless they are connected to a large body of water, like a bay.

Echo = a nymph in Greek mythology who pines away for love of Narcissus until nothing is left of her but her voice
