Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
Terry
Good Evening!
I've managed to slog some during the day. Doesn't look like anyone has the park pegged yet, but favorites are starting to emerge. I bet tonight's clue will help.
New Daddy - Gotta tell ya....some of your posts had me LOL at work today. And for the record, I can't think of a park that one couldn't see something that could be a radio/tv tower somewhere in the distance. Seems there's always at least one when we've been out digging.
If the date of the monkees is way out they can kinda figure and even ask about it and mabe even call the company and ask when the sign would come down I bet the City knows about the signage
Nice to see you again Terry! Just got back from a dog sledding/ice fishing trip and trying to catch up on the noodling. Could fair and game mean that darn baseball thing again? But this time it's withing the baselines?
the old ski jump at BC can be seen from 94 I think I know it used to be there. but I just cant see where on the air and n the air fits and with all the talk of ski competition there I am trying to stay away from that one
I think I have gone through all the parks in St.Paul today and they have all looked good at one point but then been shot down for some reason or another
No BC, if you've noticed....the last several years, the parks in which the teasure was hidden have been immaculately clean in my opinion,....remember Conway park......not 1 piece of anything on that ground..
If you take White Bear Ave. South until it ends, there are 3 streets that take you around the block. A street, B and C If you walk in from WB ave. you will see the large cement blocks that used to support it. there are also stairs that lead to the bottom.
OK, I'm with you so far. I see A,B & C. It's hard to tell, it looks like those are not in the park technically. Just outside zones 2&3 if I'm looking the same place you are.
I was at Crosby. What is something both IN and ON the air? An ANCHOR. A news anchor is on the air, and at Crosby, there are many dry-docked boats with their anchors in the air.
So your saying I shouldn't go check it out after my husband gets home from class? If anyone else is thinking of going let me know. It would be around 9:00pm. I've got to go!!!!! I'll be back later.
Hey THG, I wasn't trying to annoy you this afternoon. But you were gone b4 I could respond. The east side of Phalen is definately a St Paul park south of Larpenteur Ave. Whether it is considered St Paul north of Larp. is up for debate. I just thought it would be humorous if they specifically targeted an area that was not included in your book. 'Cause you know they've got your book...

on the air and in the air.....old ski jump at BC???????
I agree Ter. I think #4 was meant to orient us to a specific part of a park. But the park is still to be named.
on the air and in the air.....old ski jump at BC???????
jim, sorry im clumsy im new, maybe im wrong

who thinks they wouldnt put it back at Newell? god it all fits pretty well Ahhhhhh who am I kidding nothing fits
I'm stickin to the idea that "on the air and in the air" means radio or tv waves
any thoughts on the old ski jump at BC
Just have it narrowed down to neighborhoods at this point....Como,Midway,St.Anthony.
I don't know anything about the old ski jump at BC. Tell us more.
any thoughts on the old ski jump at BC
Jim you sound like my brother but insert "Cherokee" where you said Newell (every year!). One of my treasure hunting partners says Newell (every year).
you know reading how much trash it has been found in over the years, do you think the city is just trying to get us to pick up the parks?
I work for Parks and Rec. I can help answer some questions about the rec centers. There IS a tot lot at Orchard. Any more questions?
Newell fits ok but I can't get past the tide thing....??
Think we'd get a tax break then Heather?:)

lol Heather! I picked up half a dozen pieces of garbage last night, just on the off chance. Took them all home and threw them away.

yeah, i've taken home trash too...makes me hesitant to take my daughter hunting...
now could the hey, hey, ok,ok, be a signal to look for doubles in the clue?
on the air and n the air could be far out there.. remember far and wide
Hi everyone! Just got back from scouting. It's not at St. Anthony. No woods (a few trees) and no hills whatsoever.
Dalliance....you should have just listened to me and saved yourself the effort!
time & tide...... anyone have any ideas about the 'Time" part???? I think it will prove crucial...
Mk kk...the coin is in Iris park. Where else?
Can anybody tell me quick how is Mounds park at night. Safe or not. I have to take my son to swimming lessons.
I was at BC today and saw a big speaker for announcing that still stands at the top of the old ski hill. "On and in the air"
I know, Guide.
However, I have gained tremendous insight via my trip to another park. I mean TREMENDOUS.
OK, I'm with you so far. I see A,B & C. It's hard to tell, it looks like those are not in the park technically. Just outside zones 2&3 if I'm looking the same place you are.
Snow mommy...come on? Any park at night?
Hopefully my car will make it all the way there and still have air in the tire.

Listen up, Heads. I have figured out the phrase "Look for something in and on the air."
someone noodled earlier about time and tide being old man river (missisippi)...that narrows the parks down
We're heading out. We have some chores to take care of, dinner to have, and some scouting to do.
See yaz all later!
Tremendous? Ok Dalliance...we shall see.
bye TV
are you going to share with the class my dall?
what about Langford?

You heard it here first: Crosby.
