leah, i was out doing some scouting today. the south end of como, i.e., scribe's famous mcmurray field, drove around merriam. i dunno. i haven't had a whole lot of out of car time during the day in the parks to see landmarks and such.
I checked at rice and lawson today. You can see a Large radio tower to the south, St. bernard's bells rang the hour at noon( time), and there is of course a playground and a rec center. Also a paking lot and street parking

don't feel bad, marie. i'm just as confused as you are. there's a lot of parks out there that can be made to fit the clues. until we get something a little more concrete pointing to one of them, i don't see the point of doing any digging. of course, come friday nite and saturday i may be out there digging.
