afternoon, dal. after last nite (oh i'm gonna go home and crash after i get my paper, wait, no i'm gonna stay up and slog through 1400 posts or so and survive on less than 4 hours of sleep) i'm gonna go home and sleep until tomorrow morning. no that won't work either :)
ok, here's a hypothetical question for you guys. if the medallion were, say frozen in a block of ice, and the ice had a yello tint to it, yet it obviously encased the medallion, what would you do?

I failed the true diggers test. At AA there is a new dog lease free area. They have a large mail box that is used to put bags of dog doo doo in. I opened it and it was full of bags, the med could easily been in there with its knitted hat, butt I just closed it back up. What would you have done??
The first year I hunted, I found a diaper at Como and opened it up and it was, of course, a dirty one! Funny thing is that it was found at Hidden Falls in diaper that year!

Anyone else think the button registration was way too early this year? I have always gotten a button and registered it in time except this year. It was due before the Winter Carnival even officially began! ARgh!
I think they hide it befor the hunt starts. The year it was at como and there was no snow it was hidden in a clump of sod. I had a long look at that clump of sod on day 3 just by luck. I new you don't have to dig in the dirt so I did not look there. That clump looked like when a plow tears up some of the turf along the sidewalk. It looked like it had not been disturberd for several days. I'm I still pissed off at the hider for stretching their own rules and putting it in the sod. But being that close is why I am such an addict. It makes me wonder How it is hidden this year, another year that there was no snow it was frozen between some leaves.. but would that be tuff.
My thought is State Fair. Me and a friend are digging there tonight. It fits with all clues and I was there last night and all the gates were unlocked. They did that at Hidden Falls in '93 --left gates unlocked all night.

Yeah, i know it was at mounds before, and that is when they had the big deal about ruining them. It is a possibilty though, i won't rule it out.
