But Ares, when you say "The Weakest Link is on," that's short for "on the air." The thought is understood. And when a show is "on" (on the air), ittiz being received by the TV, not being transmitted which is "in the air" - the waves going thru the air to the TV...
Falcon Heights wouldn't be a bad place to hide it. Nobody knows where it is! Once you eliminate the Fair Grounds and the "St Paul" Campus you've narrowed the city down pretty well. Just look for our parks!
Digger - there is a way to set your preferences so it refreshes in 1 minute, no minutes, 5 or 10 minutes - check out your preferences to see if you can change it to help you out. I think it is something really simple.

I'm pretty sure that Battle Creek and Phalen are out. BC has the scruntiny of the Maplewood people not liking their park torn up. Phalen has a golf course connected, and there hasn't been a "stay away from the golf courses" warning in the clues.
Although, there is a definite feeling of a completely different brain writing the clues this year. The style is nowhere near the last 5 years' worth of hunt.
Unfortunately, with this logic, Highland would be out until convinced otherwise, too. :( I like Highland...
Jeez why don't hide 4 medallions, making it worth 2,500 each and have the same clues for all the hiding spots. That would make it fun. But that would also complicate the hunt...
matt, there's definitely a different clue-writer this year, or at least a different personality of the previous one. battle creek is eligible in the fact that maplewood doesn't get to complain if its dug up, especially if its the st paul side thats dug up, as the park is run by the county, not the city. good observation about phalen. i'll add another one though. the only area that qualifies as having both on and off street parking as clue 5 requires is the rec center area of it.
Hi all, well i only have 160 miles on my car since yesterday, it's nowhere to be found, tried Battle, but got lost so i said, screw it, then went to Phalen and missed the turn to get inside, so i said screw it, and here i sit :( Glad no one found it yet !

So, is there a Merriam expert in the crowd? We went for a drive around it last night and it really doesn't seem like there's anywhere to logically dig for anything; too many footprints. I saw some cameras running around by the rinks, but it wouldn't be by a hockey rink (traffic). There were a few nice places, but they weren't in view of the tower.
I think I liked the previous clues' grammar better than this year's, so far. However, the nifty rhyme and rhythm seems to make the clues a lot more fun to read aloud :P
Green I was at Miriam and didn't like it... too small to many little kids look like they play in the area.. could get turned up too easy.. I am so confused..........

Master, save your breath on the Maplewood/St. Paul xplination about BC. The rec center portion is in St. Paul; the eastern section, to the east of McKnight, is in Maplewood. Some folks just will not in anyway believe it.

i'm not looking there, but i worked for the county in the summer and the battle creek rec center is located in st. paul.

ClueMaster - BC in the 70's shows it is a County placed medallian.... but keep looking there if you like
