Hi all - back on-line here. Slogged through the posts since earlier. Greg checked in. Was still a long time since the last posting. What a surprise it would be. If not, we know he'll be there in spirit. Greg - I agree, told you before, you're a fantastic writer. Glad to see you're working in a field you can use that talent.
Cheryl, I think the PP could very well show up. This is a whole new angle to the Winter Carnival. Also a new angle for the hunt. We're not world news certainly, but maybe a noteworthy solute to the Carnival for 98.
Well, about PP showing up, nobody would be happier or more xcited than moi. I'll just keep my paws x-ed. Like, you guys were miles ahead of me on the clues... ('member the 3-pyramid stuff, C? And how you almost rudely left me to zzzzzooooommmmm outta there to check it out???
Sorry about that. I just couldn't believe that the night before I commented about that roof to hubby. (at 2:00 am Sat. morning, when we were about the only ones poking around out there.)
I realized once I got down to the park that I left kind of abruptly, but figured I could splain it later.....
We haven't seen a post from Casey lately. Has anyone e-mailed him to see if he's coming or not. Last we heard is that he might if he can manage after tonight's poker game.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure they were either the same person or were friends. Whoever Joe is, I was more amused by his antics than irritated. He certainly had stamina. And when he posted, he tended to post as two separate names, meaning he was taking the time to run two (sometimes three) browsers from the same 'puter and then carrying on conversations with himself. Weird kid, but clever.

The only expectations anyone should have is the opportunity to meet face to face those that have had such an impact on all of us the last couple weeks.
The picnic is merely the vehicle to have that happen. How many winter picnics do people attend anyway? Potato salad and sloppy joes will be just scrumptious with the stuff everyone else will bring.
The PP all over us like flies? It's possible, not a major story, but could be one of those human interest stories.
No one will care. That's not why people are coming. If they want publicity, there are other ways to get it. This is about building friendships and sharing common interests. We don't need publicity for that. We'll solute the Cooler and Casey where ever they are.
Green - We still believe we are going to make it to CP by 11:30. Will have to leave by 12:15 if we get there. Fingers are still crossed!!!
