I agree that there are some rude on people on this site. I must admit that I am really disappointed with this year's clues. There were so many things that didn't mean anything that we were sure were part of the clue. Next year I am going to remember not to pay to much attention to the clues and just hunt down every small park!
I just found out that the medallion was hidden in the ground. I just stopped by there to check it out and My buddies and I dug there last night for about an hour. probably around 1 oclock. I had a Lakers Jacket on and a berret. I was digging up second base, but since the snow was ice at night and it was hard to see, I couldnt see the wrapper. Oh and another thing, Mr News was the one who hacked into my name. Im so depressed right now!
They won't cancel the hunt because of the comments here. They may consider canceling this site, but that would be a tremendous loss to all of us even those who seem to get on everyone's nerves. I agree with a better way of kicking people off, maybe not being able to re-register under the same e-mail address would help. You only have one e-mail address ususally.
The best way to deal with the jerks here, and on any bulletin board/chat room, is to just ignore them. Responding to their comments is exactly what they want you to do.
The re-hash has always been the Sunday after the medallion's been found. If it's next Sunday, a lot of people won't attend. This Sunday would be best for all. After all, we were ALL planning on digging anyway.
I don't know yet about tonight....but if the concensus is to make the rehash bash this Sunday, we need someone to call Merriam Park...anyone have tables? grills?
