Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
Hey Ya all just thought I would drop in and say Thanks again for all the great times talking and thinking on here I so appreciate all of the people here that helped me and weren't to ruff on my thoughts. As alot of you know this was my first year with the cooler. And I so appreciate the way my first entry hear was forgotten. If you remember my first entry it was something in regards to a park not in St. Paul. AS soon as I read it. I had to kick myself and thank you all for not kicking to hard. Although the clues were not meant to instill all the thought we put into it I still had a great time and have a new found fondness for the Water cooler and its crew. I do however wish I had been in a park abit more this year I think I had to much fun here and should have gotten up and out. To the lucky locators I congratulate you and envy you. and to the Pioneer press jsut a suggestion maybe next year the Medallion could be hidden. I know this may require some thought and some more work. But as hard as the people of St.Paul work to locate the Medallion I think we deserve a Hunt. Remember days when it was not layed in a field with the hopes of snowcover. Please Pioneer Press work for us. We Love the hunt and appreciate your sponsorship of it. I think I speak for alot of us when I ask for more.
Anyway I will be at the Rehash Bash Sunday at 12:00, Merriam Park, January 27 ??? and hope to meet alot of the good people I have met on here or in the line in front of the Pioneer Press. If I dont see you there I will see you here nect year I will get here early maybe by July in hopes of gaining a "regular" Status. My name will be the same. I am so good with Originality. Talk to you all soon and wish ya all luck till next year when my greed kicks in
O- Sorry, it's just that your photo in your book looked so familiar, and I used to own the bait shop across the Ford bridge in mpls, and for some reason thought you were once a customer. Perhaps you just have that generic fishing guy persona...:)
Okay I will stop in more frequently. I am not sure of the proper ettiquette here I will look for ya all on here. I have no daughter however. can I come alone?? I will see ya all tomorrow.
I've bought bait from there for fishing a few times. 2-3 summers ago. I live a few blocks away from there. Steve, I would go fishing down on the river or at Lake Nokomis.
Not very well hidden this year...the conditions were well known in advance that should've waranted a very good hiding spot. We take the hunt more seriously that the clue writer knows.
Mr. News was apparently at McGovern's last night, but didn't introduce himself. I have a feeling he'll come on here, proclaiming he was at the re-hash bash, when nobody will have met him or remember him being there.
Green, what voice you want? Barney? Kermit? Miss Piggy? Yoda? Cartman? Elmo?
And gives a royal flying... Ah, hem... about, Estaban.
Estaban, that puppy could not have been out in that field but for a few hours. The potatoe chip thighy was virginal: not bent or dirty. And it was still TAPED to The Med. The cold would have caused the adhesive to get gummy had it been out there for any extended length of time.
Stat Man pulled the potatoe chip thighy off The Med. There was still very good adhesion and, consequently, he was able to re-stick the very clean piece o'aluminum-stuff BACK on The Med and it held.
I have mopped and vacuumed today, went to CUB, (forgot my clues), straightened up the "noodle area" (maps, the book, pencils, notepad, etc.), and emptied the trash.
Ian, if you want points, they're probably still negative. You likely needed to mop and vacuum yesterday, or you missed a spot. You forgot your clues, so those are points off. You emptied the trash but forgot to empty the bathroom trash.
Green, I have no idea where Terry or Scribe are. Maybe they are out in the parks, digging as they mumble something about "It's still out here, liars, they are all liars..."
This was the first cache ever found by my cache-parter (mwmm15T) and me. I found it and I wasn't even holding the GPS at the time! :) I had wanted to visit Camp Coldwater for a long time, but it took treasure hunting to get me there! We left 4 minutes before the place closed! Close call! I took the old Masters Lock and left a fishing bobber. I was a bit disapointed that there were price tags on the items. Treasure should be priceless. :) This was the first of three kingboreas's caches we visited that day. My partner thought the place was spooky, even sacred...I agreed, but it just felt abandoned. One down, two more to go for the day!
Later, ninja.
green... Alone in a bar?
nah. not yet anyway.
"it ain't easy being green"

Sincerely Jim Casper
No, Matt, it isn't.
Uh, It's Matt's Mom again, I just watched "the Horse Whisperer", just so I could cry, and cry, and cry........
Matt...Very good one! The spin on green, that is.
jim, why wait till july? a fair number of us pop our heads in here on a regular basis all year.
Guide, do you ice fish?
Jim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You and your daughter have to come TOMORROW!!! The Re-Hash Bash is ALWAYS the Sunday AFTER The Med's been found!
We'll be at Merriam TOMORROW!! Starting at 12:00 noon!!!
Nope...I don't. Too boring. I'd rather fish off a boat.
Estaban. Hi.
well as long as green's not alone in here, i'm gonna step out a bit and enjoy the beautiful day we're having.
Feeling better, Verde? What chu do last night?
O- Sorry, it's just that your photo in your book looked so familiar, and I used to own the bait shop across the Ford bridge in mpls, and for some reason thought you were once a customer. Perhaps you just have that generic fishing guy persona...:)

hopefully, jim, this particular board will be up till next year's hunt starts. this is where we'll be.
ANYONE SEE JAKE AT THE PARADE
I never stopped at your shop, but it always caught my eye when I drove over there. I always wondered who was buying bait and where they were using it.
The bait shop across the ford bridge in Mpls? In the old gas station? Across from the pink closet?
Sorry, Jim! I've met so many folks... I confused you with someone else.
Of course you can come alone!!! Just come and have a good time.
And, nice thoughts by the way.
Estaban, a modicum. Emotions still running very high and easily moved to tears. "This, too, shall pass."
HI, Kids.
Ya, that's the one. (also I'm not Matt, I'm the Mother.)
Hiya Green. Wish I had some funny line or joke or story to tell you to cheer you up. Brain isn't working though.
IS MR NEWS GOING TO BE AT THE REHASH BASH
I've bought bait from there for fishing a few times. 2-3 summers ago. I live a few blocks away from there. Steve, I would go fishing down on the river or at Lake Nokomis.
tmk, did you come to my shop, or the pink closet?
Not very well hidden this year...the conditions were well known in advance that should've waranted a very good hiding spot. We take the hunt more seriously that the clue writer knows.
I've been to the Pink Closet before, accompanying my cousin in shopping there many many years ago. Been to the bait shop more recently though.
Kids, I'm here with you guys. It feels good. This is where I need to be.
I want to hear your 'voice' tomorrow. Which one izzit? That should bring a smile to my face! :)
TMK:( I sold the property, and closed my shop.... I ran out of the cash needed to finance it.:(:(:(:(...did you ever meet my wolf?
Jist think less than 1 year until the start of the next hunt, a saturday just like this on it will all start again. Thats the beauty of the hunt..
Mr. News was apparently at McGovern's last night, but didn't introduce himself. I have a feeling he'll come on here, proclaiming he was at the re-hash bash, when nobody will have met him or remember him being there.
Green, what voice you want? Barney? Kermit? Miss Piggy? Yoda? Cartman? Elmo?
Matt's Mom, I can't remember if I met your wolf or not. I haven't done much fishing the last few summers.
New Daddy, Like the Phoenix, We will rise from the ashes, to live , fly and be free to hunt again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
And gives a royal flying... Ah, hem... about, Estaban.

Hay, New Daddy.
Kids, Como and I pick "Kermit"! :D
It's such a beautiful day, I will celebrate life by cleaning up dog turds from my front lawn!!!
Green, I was thinking of reading the clue one night in my Kermit the reporter voice, since I thought it was fitting and it made me think of you.
Estaban, not to mention the MOISTURE! Mother Mining may make a good product, but not THAT good. I figure The Puck was dropped about 8-9 AM yesterday.
Stat Man pulled the potatoe chip thighy off The Med. There was still very good adhesion and, consequently, he was able to re-stick the very clean piece o'aluminum-stuff BACK on The Med and it held.
Annie B:
You've got mail.
Steve:
Were you on KQ this year?
None of this made an impression on me at the time. Never gave it a thought.
Then, outta the clear blue (The Med?????) last nite, things just starting popping off in my head...
Estaban! Estaban! You stll here? Something just dawned on me!
Where's Terry? Where's Scribe?
Scribe:
I have mopped and vacuumed today, went to CUB, (forgot my clues), straightened up the "noodle area" (maps, the book, pencils, notepad, etc.), and emptied the trash.
That's 5 (five) points, right?
Ian, you've got mail.
Ian, if you want points, they're probably still negative. You likely needed to mop and vacuum yesterday, or you missed a spot. You forgot your clues, so those are points off. You emptied the trash but forgot to empty the bathroom trash.

Green:
Here's a first-time post on one of my caches.
January 25 by Perrine (1 found)
This was the first cache ever found by my cache-parter (mwmm15T) and me. I found it and I wasn't even holding the GPS at the time! :) I had wanted to visit Camp Coldwater for a long time, but it took treasure hunting to get me there!
