First, go to "Preferences" at the bottom of this page. Scroll down until you get to the part about a picture. Go there and do what they tell you - about loading what you need.
After you that that loaded... REMEMBER WHERE YOU PUT IT, then go to the PPlanet Homepage and click on "Search." When you get there, then click on "Technology" that's on your left. Let me know when you've gotten this far.
Green: Followed instructions in Web Crossing, but my computer won't open the .gif file - message says it will be too big to fit in Web Crossing. I know there is a step you were trying to show me in Technology, but I couldn't figure out what it was. My son, who does internet support for a living, tried to talk me through it on ICQ chat, but no luck. He'll try it for real when he gets home about 9:30PM. Signing off for now. I have been having a hard time figuring out transfer of skills into a different field, due to the lack of opportunity in the car biz right now....so if anyone happens to know fo anything (spouses' best friend's cousin works with someone whose uncle's co. might be hiring???) ((shameless plug)), I have very good data entry skills, accounting experience; reconciliations, customer service experience, and I have absolutely no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life!
Sounds like support staff - clerical skills. Skew your resume to that. I have a job hot-line number where I work. I'll look it up tomorrow and e-mail to you. In fact, I'll e-mail now with the main # and you can ask to be transferred to the job line.

Hi all. Back from choir practice. About getting .gifs for your picture... I went into a search engine (I like metacrawler) and searched on web clip art. I found a site with a bunch of free icons and stuff. I right clicked on the ones I liked and saved them in my hard drive (they're already the right format). Then I downloaded the software piece from the PP that they talk about in the preference section. If I remember right, it says something like there's help I opened that, went to the gif file, then pasted it into the little box the PP gives you for a picture and voila! my little buzzing bee!
