Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
New Daddy
Hi all, nice to see many of you at the bash. Sorry i misssed you ares and me2
CONGRATULATIONS TO MARKY KAY AND HER SON!!!!! I COULDNT MAKE IT TO REHASH PARTY TODAY. SO,NOW,TO VENT,(A LITTLE). IN THE CLUE THAT ENDED THE HUNT, THE CLUEWRITER "THREATENS" US THAT THESE WERE HARD CLUES. AM I MISSIN' SUMTHIN OR WHAT???? HOW CAN A DIAMOND IN THE RUFF, REFERRING TO BASEBALL DIAMONDS BE HARD??? GRANTED, IT DIDNT PIN THE PARK,(OR I DIDNT FIND IT.)BUT EVERY UNCLE, NEIGHBOR AND COUSIN WOULD BE TEARING EVERY BASEBALL FIELD APART IN EVERY ST. PAUL PARK!!!!!! THE SECOND I READ DIAMOND IN THE RUFF;I THOUGHT, HE CANT POSSIBLY MEAN BASEBALL DIAMOND,CUZ THAT WOULD NOT BE HARD AND BE TOO OBVIOUS. REMEMBER THE THREAT=HARD CLUES/DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! THEN I THOUGHT,IF HE MEANS BASEBALL DIAMOND;IT WILL BE FOUND FRIDAY. WELL, ???? OH WELL!!! C YA
well, that file's 407792 bytes long. winzip is still not opening it claiming it is corrupted. how big is your file? and do you have any problems trying to email me the file?
I know people say this a lot, but i walked right on top of it. ( of course it might not have been there with this consipracy theory.) I started at the pitchers mound, and giving the clue writer way too much credit, looked at the "hey hey" clue. Say hey kid is willie mays as has been discussed before. What position did he play? Centerfield. What number was he? 24. Where does 24 steps from the pitchers mound towards centerfield take you? Second base, dug on and around that spot for a bit. If this late drop is true, i could have been hours early of finding it!
2k2, we all suspect that there's a lot in those clues that was intentionally put there that wasn't even mentioned in the explanation. you may well be right!
Hi all, nice to see many of you at the bash. Sorry i misssed you ares and me2
nevermind, ian. found what i was looking for.
Anyway, well, I am going to head out for a while, I'll be back in a few days. I wish a regular found it. Take care everyone!!

your upload was no good, ian.
ok, I'm replacing it. I'll let you know when it's done.
2k2, the general suspicion is that it was hidden the morning before it was found.
thanks!

Ok, here's the deal, if I can explain it right.
Trent sent it to me as (?) Word97. I only had Word 6.0 I can't look at the messages.
But if i use wordpad I can read them. They are not HTML.
ok. but i can't open the zip file in winzip.
Do you want to try looking at them that way? I could make a new zip from the ones I can read.
Oh yeah, you have to change wordpad from .txt to all documents.
all right, I'll upload again gimme 10
if you can post a clean zip of them, i've got word2000 that i can use to open the docs, and extract the text to an html file.
Looks like most have toddled off trying the get-back-to-regular-routines method of medallion fever letdown.
DRINKS.FOR.ALL.MY.BUDS
you wanna try again ?
Sh!t, I just downloaded and can't open

When asked this riddle, 80% of kindergarten kids got the answer, compared to 17% of Stanford University seniors.
What is greater than God, More evil than the devil, The poor have it, The rich need it, And if you eat it, you'll die?
want an answer, marley? real easy. or want me to wait in giving it?
fire away
The zip file I have here is good. I don't know what happens when I upload it.
mk the answer is nothing.
of course, i know this because i spent a couple of hours a year or so ago figuring it out for someone else.
ian, this is crazy. of course the aol server i'm connecting to has a horrid response time.
Very good Ares!
