Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
l and a mommy
the only thing that rhymed with Newbie.....cooler crew (crewbie) never mind...I never said I could write rhymes...you want me to right the clues next year?
BTW - Lisa's mommy - You did NOT look big and fat and pregnant!! I know it's hard not to feel that way, but trust me, you looked great! And Lisa's a doll!
Hannah came home over-tired again. She's just begun a program offered through the St. Paul schools, called School Readiness, or Learning Readiness. I guess I need to correct that already - she had previously been in the same program but at a different location. We had to change daycares, and now she's going to a class session that's from 1-4:30. She's 4 1/2 and REALLY still needs a nap.
Emily was being TOO NICE. We ate out at a Chinese buffet. She didn't demand to eat all the dessert type stuff before eating at least a *little* real food, and then she kept offering to get the things the other 2 kids were wanting.
"No, really" she'd say - "I can get Hannah another piece of chicken."
I wanted to shake her and scream "WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY CHILD?!!!"
But she had some choice moments before the meal was over, too.
There's the parade, if you're going, or going to be along the way. I could babysit too if you need a babysitter some time. Or I could be like Santa. Be seen once a year. I know who's naughty and nice ;)
We are *thinking* about the parade. It's a heckuva job with 3 little ones, plus Dad might have a little trouble walking that far all at once - keeping up I guess is what I want to say. But it was SO much fun the last time we did it - I think that was 1999.
Cluemaster - I'd like to say that's the way Emily is all the time :).
Truth is, I think she's a really good kid. But she gets very frustrated very easily. I could make excuses for her....I think she's way farther ahead intellectually than she is emotionally or physically....but that's all it would be - excuses. She is learning to deal with things a little bit better as she gets older.
Cluemaster - I have some of the previous years' CC buttons. I am just about out of the 99 ones, but the other years are good. The shirts came directly from the PP, and I would have no idea if they have more of a supply or not.
Ares - I am still getting mail on my qwest account too. I never took it out of my Outlook. Maybe they just let you keep getting mail forever, you just can't use their internet service?
It's fine Mom. Just want to let you know for planning purposes that I would have no problem watching her or both her and Hannah for the night. If you don't make it, it's fine, although we'll miss you.
Mom - Are you going to the parade? Can I buy '98,'99 & '00 buttons from you? I've been in here since it started but only bought buttons starting last year. You (or whomever) was out during the pre-dig in '00.
Well, we were supposed to stop paying on the 16th, but we have been paying all along. We will see when we get the next bill if Qwest stopped charging us. Is this making sense?

Couldn't be any worse than this year, go for it!
huh?? someone say beer? :)
Well, I for one hope this forum stays up and running at least for awhile. You guys are entertaining!
Somehow I just don't see it working the same way on that new site. It's JUST NO GOOD!
And slow besides. I'm still cruising it though. To be honest, I guess I haven't messed with it enough.
2K2 - but then i couldn't have fun with you guys
you want me to right the clues next year?
I prefer left clues.
Besides, I think you're over qualifies.
but then i couldn't have fun with you guys
Could be ever more fun!! :)

Maybe he was afraid he'd run into Scribe and her rubber chicken.

Ah, she's all cluck and no peck.

Thanks Mom - I feels big and round already

steve, you might actually wanna consider doing this!
Sure I want to know! And what is Lisa up to that's so bad?

I was wondering if you could.

Ares, I had talked to Steve about that. Possible future editions:
Treasure Hunter's Guide to:
Mom, I'd like to think that I had something to do with that.....
But I'd be kidding myself
E&H's Mom - That sounds exactly like Emily to me. How else can she be?
I was wondering if you could.
hey, i touched way too many things today to touch that one. and yes i did intentionally leave this door open! lol!
steve could retire off of what he'd get with those.
Natalie was the cute one, but that's her job being 2, right? Her head doesn't begin to spin around until bedtime.
TMK - Who knows? Maybe you're more of an influence than you knew?!
Hehe, maybe I can be used to encourage good behavior? "If you're good enough, maybe we'll see the funny guy again"
LOL! Yeah - I'll have to use that one! But we'll have to figure out a way to get together before next year's hunt or it'll never work!

I can be in charge of a little one. I don't think Emmy would mind walking with me.

Mom - Do you happen to know of where to find past CC buttons or shirts?
hey. is it just me or can anyone else out there who switched from qwest still access their qwest email?
Well, TMK, we'll think about it. I'm sure she'd love hanging out with you and being in a parade!!
Looks like we've scared everyone else out of here - at least away from posting while we have a nice little chit chat about MY children.
Sorry!

I'm still getting mail and using the internet service.
Ian - I suppose you're one of the lucky ones that's doing it for free, too?
mom, you took the words out of my mouth.
When I tried to cancel my dsl and internet, they couldn't seem to get it done....
It was still appearing on my bill 2 months later. Then I hear about people that have not been charged for internet service since LAST FEBRUARY??!!
No wonder they felt they had to keep charging me! LOL!
Anyway - it's gotten way too late too fast again. I've got to get under blankets for tonight. Catch y'all in the am.
nite mom. mcl.

Night Mom. SCDs and MCL
Ares, we switched right before the hunt (on the 16th) and I am still getting email.
