Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
'mom'
Having worked in the auto business 10+ years (Dad too), we almost never have too far to look when it comes to car repair.
It's just nice to realize that I no longer, EVER, need to go to that place. I thought because the recall notices were mailed from there, that that's the only place that would honor the card. My Huge mistake. My hopes won't be too big for the others, but they really don't have far to go to be better. Thanks
I just hope that with enough folks passing the word about Southview, that someday, sometime, they fold up, dry up and are but a pile of dust somewhere.
It's a nice thought, Terry. But they're "good people helping good people". They're not going to go away any time soon. People think they *have* to deal with that kind of service.
And to think that Denny Hecker guy has all those other dealerships. Just think how many folks have had similar experiences. How can they stay in business? Ruled by dishonesty, rudeness, bottom of the cess pool service...and yet they stay in business. I don't get it.
TMK I didn't have my computer for like 24 hours today then I caught up after fixing this stupid thing and I come back to have to slog for 200 messages....
Mom I wish mine was....her daddy is way to lax...he thinks if she isn't tired she doesn't need to go to bed...UGH and who gets stuck with her during the day!! Anyways enough said I wish she was in bed and of course she isn't
TV - Maybe we should give it a rest about Southview. My BP is way up right now. Anyway, I look at them like the terrorists, if you give into them, they win. I do believe that what comes around eventually goes around. I'm sure there will be a rather large vigil the day that does happen.
Cluemaster - My BP is always up at even the thought of those idiots. I do believe that folks doing bad things will get their's in the end. Just hope I'm around to see it.
Terry, I'm sure your anxious, but I'm sure you also want them to make you a grandma when they're ready. I can picture you taking your grandkids out to hunt for the medallion when they're older.
Hehe E&H's Mom, I was going to joke last night "if you wanted a babysitter, I wouldn't mind watching them. Oh wait, why would you and dad want a night out..." ;)
The woman that was my maid of honor won't let me live down the fact that I said that I hated kids, and would never have any of my own. They are a challenge, no doubt about that. But my life would be so very empty without them.
She is normally in bed at 9:30 and is up at 9 sometimes she gets up at 8:30 but I never have to set a clock to get up unless I need to be up really early.
Daughter is kinda not excited about guys right now. She's got other things going on in her life and needs to work through some stuff before getting hooked up again. When the right guy comes along, I'm sure she'll fall head over heals. All in good time.
What's funny about that, TMK? It all gets kinda schmooshed up in your mind - the hunts that is - and though you remember hunting with your kids, it's impossible to put a year, park and their ages together after awhile.
The son who is full bore ahead heading for his masters and has tunnel vision getting through that. Can't afford to date much so doesn't. Is seriously thinking of getting his doctorate. I have visions of this professional student until he's 40!
What I look forward to is like 5 years from now, or 10 years from now. Hoping that people will still be together, in contact with each other. Maybe I'll have kids by then. See how Emmy, Hannah, Natalie, Lisa have grown up. See where Tim and Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope are, how they've grown into men. If you'll have grandchildren then. What the Cooler Crew will be like then. Perhaps one big family?

Don't ever go to Buerkle Honda. I had an experience with them.
It's just nice to realize that I no longer, EVER, need to go to that place. I thought because the recall notices were mailed from there, that that's the only place that would honor the card. I'M FREEEEEE!!!
Mom - Well na,na,na,na,na to you too ;}
Buerkle Honda? Really? They (service and parts dept.) bent over backwards to help me out a few years ago - on a Saturday.
ATTENTION EVERYONE........I HAVE A PalinaJOE!
Yes, Buerkle. One time they tried to tell me $800 to fix my brakes. I took it down to Richfield Honda........$50 for maintenance.
I just hope that with enough folks passing the word about Southview, that someday, sometime, they fold up, dry up and are but a pile of dust somewhere.
Man I have only been gone for like 3 hours and wow you guy sure can talk!!
OMG! ROTFLOL TV!! You couldn't of said it better.
LM, that will teach you not to have a life outside of the cooler crew!
Just keep spreading the word, ClueMaster. Word of mouth unadvertising has to work eventually. Right!?!?
It's a nice thought, Terry. But they're "good people helping good people". They're not going to go away any time soon. People think they *have* to deal with that kind of service.
Hi Lisa's Mommy!
And to think that Denny Hecker guy has all those other dealerships. Just think how many folks have had similar experiences. How can they stay in business? Ruled by dishonesty, rudeness, bottom of the cess pool service...and yet they stay in business. I don't get it.
Okay Moms, how are the little ones tonight?
TMK I didn't have my computer for like 24 hours today then I caught up after fixing this stupid thing and I come back to have to slog for 200 messages....
Shhhhhhhh!!
they're finally all sleeping!
Mom I wish mine was....her daddy is way to lax...he thinks if she isn't tired she doesn't need to go to bed...UGH and who gets stuck with her during the day!! Anyways enough said I wish she was in bed and of course she isn't
E&H's mom- I won't wake them, no reason to do so. I'm not THAT mean.
Lisa's mom- Get revenge on dad somehow, and try to tire Lisa out during the day!
One of my kids is out working out and will be home after that. The other one is likely in bed...but he's way the H in Michigan!
Enjoy those kids while they're little. They grow up way too fast.
TV - Maybe we should give it a rest about Southview. My BP is way up right now. Anyway, I look at them like the terrorists, if you give into them, they win. I do believe that what comes around eventually goes around. I'm sure there will be a rather large vigil the day that does happen.

I can't wait to have kids of my own. But I can also at the same time. In the meantime, I'll just play with other people's kids! :)
My kids keep telling me that it'll be awhile before they make me a Grandma. I guess that's okay...but I am anxious too.
Hey - I've got three that can be rented out at your convenience!!
Terry, I'm sure your anxious, but I'm sure you also want them to make you a grandma when they're ready. I can picture you taking your grandkids out to hunt for the medallion when they're older.
Its funny I always said I would never have kids....HA HA Jokes on me I will have 2 under 18 months and wouldn't change it for the world
Hehe E&H's Mom, I was going to joke last night "if you wanted a babysitter, I wouldn't mind watching them. Oh wait, why would you and dad want a night out..." ;)
How long is the parade route? by the way where is Green today I just realized I don't think I have heard from her all day
The woman that was my maid of honor won't let me live down the fact that I said that I hated kids, and would never have any of my own. They are a challenge, no doubt about that. But my life would be so very empty without them.
Rent-a-grandkid! :-)
TMK - You're right. I want them to be ready. I just want them to be ready sooner rather than later!
And you can count on those grandbabies going hunting. The tradition has to live on!
extremely Empty Mom....who would I have to use as my alarm clock if it wasn't for Lisa ;-) 9 am sharp

Terry, just start dropping subtle hints here and there....
NINE!!!!!?
That's why she's up at night!
Last Saturday, I had Hannah and Natalie coming in to our bed at 5:37 am. They normally get up at 6:00 during the week.
Nothing subtle here, TMK! They hear me loud and clear. LOL!!!
Terry, perhaps we should be having Scribe work her matchmaking magic a little more?
She is normally in bed at 9:30 and is up at 9 sometimes she gets up at 8:30 but I never have to set a clock to get up unless I need to be up really early.
BTW, Lisa's mom....when are you due? How old *is* Lisa?
she has always been a great sleep once I GET her to bed
Daughter is kinda not excited about guys right now. She's got other things going on in her life and needs to work through some stuff before getting hooked up again. When the right guy comes along, I'm sure she'll fall head over heals. All in good time.
she is 14 months well in a week she will be....And I am due 6-6-2002
I wonder if Cooler Crew parents mark their children's ages and birthdays by the hunts. "when she was 3, that was the year it was in Merriam...."
Speaking of bedtimes.....(even though it IS a big waste of time), I'd best get myself under the blankets for tonight. Morning comes fast.
MCL, all!
SCD Mom
Terry, what that means is you concentrate on your son ;)
SCDs and MCL E&H's mom
What's funny about that, TMK? It all gets kinda schmooshed up in your mind - the hunts that is - and though you remember hunting with your kids, it's impossible to put a year, park and their ages together after awhile.
Goodnight Mom! SCDs!!!

'i' YAWN
Too many kids, too many hunts!
