Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
I'm still waitting to make sure its going to be warm enough for me to go...because I am a big baby like Ares.....I don't want to get sick right now but I have better reasons!!
I'm here...just had to do all that stuff...got one more phone call and still have that agenda to prepare. I just hate this time of year...paperwork!YUCK!
People just need to keep things PG-13. A lot of us have kids or are at ages where we can have kids. Let's just be cognizant of what we'd want our kids reading and not reading.
Hi everyone. I apologize for offending anyone/everyone yesterday. If it must be known, I offended myself a little and even went back and deleted some posts.
I think it is just a sign of how close we're getting, how much of a community we're getting to be. We feel comfortable enough to joke around like we have been. We just lost track of the forum in which we're doing this.
hey, I was trying really hard to follow the new board just now and left a couple messages, but WoW, thats a lot of time & work to even slog it. ::tired::
Ares, of all your tag lines, your current is my favorite. I think I remember it with the word small, as in, small and crunchy. I love the image it draws.
For some reason I just thought of Blue's Clues related to the treasure hunt. I'm picturing us with our handy dandy notebooks, sitting in our thinking chairs, trying to figure out what park the medallion is in.
yes, you do need help - I have never seen Veggie Tales, Blues Clues or anything of the sort. I am sort of proud of my non-attention to children't culture.
Anyway, here is a joke for you all: Two bored casino dealers were waiting at a craps table. A very attractive blonde woman arrived and bet twenty-thousand dollars on a single roll of the dice. She said, "I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude." With that she stripped from her neck down, rolled the dice and yelled,"Mama needs new clothes!" Then she hollered..."YES! YES! I WON! I WON!" She jumped up and down and hugged each of the dealers. She then picked up all the money and clothes and quickly departed. The dealers just stared at each other dumbfounded. Finally, one of them asked, "What did she roll?" The other answered, "I don't know, I thought YOU were watching!" Moral: Not all blondes are dumb, but all men are men.
Ares, I think Scribe is not talking to us now.
Scribe, we meant no harm, really.
methinks she just poked her head in to calm us all down.
Me2 are people bringing things on Saturday??

no lm - not neccessary to bring anything just nice to have a snack for a long walk.
I'm still waitting to make sure its going to be warm enough for me to go...because I am a big baby like Ares.....I don't want to get sick right now but I have better reasons!!

Hi all (It is lots nicer in here today)
People say that spice and dessert day is off? Why does it have to be off? Heck, I could go for a nice hot fudge brownie sundae.

People just need to keep things PG-13. A lot of us have kids or are at ages where we can have kids. Let's just be cognizant of what we'd want our kids reading and not reading.

Has anything been decided for sure yet on pre- and post-parade gatherings?
Ares, of all your tag lines, your current is my favorite. I think I remember it with the word small, as in, small and crunchy. I love the image it draws.

Yes, I know I need help.
-I am impressed TMK! That was said absolutely PERFECT.
Only TMK or a parent would think of that!
We will have to tie that in somehow to next year along with spotters, myths of Ares, AW leaving Merriam park.

I like Blue's Clues. I've been told that I remind people of Steve. And I have to laugh. "Only TMK or a parent would think of that."
As a man, I would hope I was a man.
