2002 Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt

Submitted by Casey Trauer on

Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

Allison,

if you think you might want a chest, let me know. I have two to chose from. These are the souvenir-shop type, probably 3" x 4" x 6".

You know a great prize would be a piece of old Winter Carnival memorabilia......

I should be at the parade. Any donations will be gladly accepted and acknowledged.

As for putting it in Linwood two years in a row, nah I wouldn't do that, but maybe I'd write the clues in such a way to make you think I did, hehe. (Remember how I had you thinking it was Cherokee for a while last year?)

LM, I looked in the St Paul phonebook, and it just says "World Trade Center." The number is 651-227-6277.

lm, its the big skyscraper between cedar and wabasha on the south side of 7th. kind of a brownish reddish color. it may be known as something else now, since norwest/wells fargo bought it.

So, what's the plans for pre- and post-parade on Saturday. Last I read, AW said Wild Thymes at 1:00 p.m.

1:00 p.m. !!!

Watch out! That only gives us, say, 3 hours to get in prime form!

it looks like it is the tallest bldg in downtown St Paul (has the new Wells Fargo RED sign on it) BUT as we all know--not the highest point in St Paul since that is n HIGHLAND! uuuuuh!

yes, it does mean that. Thanks.

The chest is 4x4x10. And it contains a 1976 Prince of the North Wind button, for starters.
