2002 Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt

Submitted by Casey Trauer on

Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

The Map Store is in something called Kellogg Square or something with the word Kellogg in it. It's on the corner of Robert and Kellogg, on the main floor. There's an apartment building and a restaraunt in the same building. Hope that helps! 111 E Kellogg is the address, 651-227-6277

seriously and honestly I listen to just about EVERYTHING

There' so many too pick from

I suggest going to Cheapo on Snelling and looking through their used CD's. Just pick something that looks interesting and buy it. They're used so, they don't cost much so not as much to loose.

My wife thinks I'm crazy for buying CD's from bands I've never heard of but, that's what makes it cool when you find something good.

Fri, 02/01/2002 - 11:48 AM Permalink
Scribe

Yeah.....except you never listen to it before you buy it! What sense does that make?

Fri, 02/01/2002 - 11:49 AM Permalink
l and a mommy

see and 70% of the time I got to buy a CD I'm basically going in blind since i don't know who sings what...I might have heard the band name before or the singers name before but I couldn't tell you what they sing....with a few exceptions...IF I REALLY like a song I will normally find out who sings it but normally I will forget ha ha ha by the time I get to the store....

THX, John is into this weird band called Sigur Ros (not sure of spelling). I think they are really weird, but you might like them.

THX 1138

Yeah.....except you never listen to it before you buy it! What sense does that make?

I like surprises.

Besides, I've heard of the bands, I just never heard their music.

I have one friend in particular that suggests music for me to buy. He's usually on but when he's not......yikes!

THX, you ever listen to The Orb?

Fri, 02/01/2002 - 11:52 AM Permalink

Lee, I'm taking in my app today! I tried to apply online but found it to be a bigger hassle than just filling out the form by hand AND they wanted my personal statement on-line....good grief with my typing there goes all your hard work in evaluating and correcting it!

THX, you ever listen to The Orb?

I don't own anything by they Orb but, yes I've listened to them.

Don't find many Orb CD's in the used bin at Cheapo so, that's why I don't own any.

Lee, I'll check out Sigur Ros. I guess they're from Iceland. That's all I know about em.

The online apps suck, we use them and without formatting you don't know if it is the person's formatting problems or the computer's.
