Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
Frosti
H-M? I was a WBL grad. You're evil, you always beat us in hockey.
Frosti, I didn't actually hate it until I spent four years at H-M and got to know those folks......besides I'm a figure skater and they take up all our ice time......course I have found ways around that!:)
I believe Scribe has Veggie Tales in her CD player, or she did 2 days ago!
Scribe got me hooked on Veggie Tales. I thought she was crazy at first but, when I saw the videos I changed my mind. I actually asked for a Veggie Tales CD for Christmas last year.
I'm a 1987 grad myself.
86 Grad. Central High, Springfield MO. Not the greatest place to be living in the 80's. Especially in the music arena. My classmates were into such things as Motley Crue, Def Leppard, and even Hank Williams Jr. I was a freak to those people.
If anybody's in the mood for some reggae/ska to fill their Friday afternoon, KFAI(90.3 in Minneapolis, 106.7 in St. Paul) is running Radio Antilles now until 3:00 PM central.
I graduated in 85 and love hard rock, big hair bands, and punky sort of stuff from that time period. But, I also listen to newer bands when I can find stuff I like. The problem is that TC radio is horrible for finding new bands.
I like what I've heard but, they were big in MN when I was down in MO. Husker wasn't exactly easy to get in MO.
TC radio is horrible for finding new bands.
Napster was great for trying out new music. I don't believe in pirating music but, it was awesome sitting home on the computer and trying before buying.
Song that brings a tear to my eye? A few country songs come to mind. "The Dance" by Garth Brooks. "You Were Mine" by Dixie Chicks. "The Little Girl" by John Michael Montgomery.
