I just got my e-mail to Michael Moore bounced back to me because his mailbox is full. I will post my message again when I know his mailbox is open. You can delete my previous post in the meantime.
Seems lately my evenings are way too busy. Hope things settle down a bit soon.
We finished our daughter's taxes and got them sent out this past Monday. Now today another W2 showed up in the mail. I suppose we'll have to file an amended return and that is sure to mess up somewhere along the line. I strongly dislike dealing with the IRS.
The justification isn't something I worry about...it's the certainty of the left hand and the right hand at the IRS not knowing what's going on. It happened to us before.
Our check got seperated from the return. The SS# was written on the check. It took us months and months to get that mess straightened out.
No kids here. Though my life seems to be going pretty well without them. Which is just as well since I don't foresee having any anytime soon. Although sadly I no longer feel like I'm just a big kid myself.
my dad and I went through some pretty hard times, didn't talk to him for like a year, allthough we are the best of friends now if I could I would change a whole lot of things from my childhood....maybe it made me a better person...I don't know and probably never will.
I don't necessarily regret feeling older. Some of the things I deal with these days are much more interesting than the things I dealt with when I still felt like a big kid. I feel like I'm learning more about the universe and myself and it gives a sort of intellectual pleasure that seems more rewarding than the mere fun and pleasure we seek as children. So being an adult isn't all bad.
I would have to say I still have a lot of kid in me. I've grown up, but I can still have fun coloring or playing on a playground, or things of that nature.
And Ares, I didn't know how to post from here. So I thought I would enlist your help :)
Hey, can y'all do me a favor? Michael Moore("Roger & Me", TV Nation, The Awful Truth) is looking for help with his website, and a solution for posting his book tour journal on the web. One of our brilliant members took it upon himself to suggest to Mike that he use PeoplesForum.com. I just e-mailed Mike with a pitch to that effect.
Can some of you e-mail him at mmflint@aol.comand let him know that you'd really like it if he hosted his book tour journal here? I told him our members would be enthusiastic, would tell their friends and create a web buzz, etc. So if any of you can back up my claims, and shoot off a quick e-mail to Mr. Moore letting him know he'd get an enthusiastic and warm welcome here. And tell him how cool this place is, in whatever way you see fit. (NOTE: I just got my e-mail bounced back, because his mailbox is full, so you might
I have a locale connection to Mike- his sister lives here in the Nevada City area, and Mike has an affection for this area. We're the smallest town on his book tour, and he's going to be here March 3rd. (And yes, I meant to write "locale," not local.)
Mike coming here could be a major boost for us, and help us as we move forward to try and get grants and donations.
Thanks in advance for your help! Sorry for off-topicness and mass posting.
no marly...hubby works on sunday and andy tends to be too much to handle out in public if dad's not around. I'll keep trying to win those tickets for you though!

Good Evening!

that sucks, ter. at least you've got the justification to the irs that this one showed up well after it should have.

some of those people have way too much time on their hands!
Some people IS YOU Ares!
Goodevening everyone :)
I am only online to help my oldest daughter with her homework on whales. I went to my youngest daughters Kindergarten Valentine performance tonight-
I always tell people with no kids "when you have them, you will always wonder what you ever did without them" :)
Night- SCoolerD's
Some people IS YOU Ares!
nice to know i've got a fan club too.

you are only as old as you wanna be allison! I for one will never grow up cuz then life won't be any fun!
Poll of the day:
Was life better as a child than it is today as an adult?
this is no fun anymore! everyone is so scattered about....no one is ever in the same room anymore! :(
not really......but I still like to play like I am sometimes! went down the slide w/my 4 yr old today! what a blast!
I see you marly!
not really....
Why
i've said it before, ll. growing old is mandatory. growing up is optional!
as for being in the same room, the primary page i look at for new messages is the ppwc refugees page.
Why
my dad and I went through some pretty hard times, didn't talk to him for like a year, allthough we are the best of friends now if I could I would change a whole lot of things from my childhood....maybe it made me a better person...I don't know and probably never will.

Life is certainly better as an adult than it ever was being a kid.
Not that I don't have some good memories during childhood. Parts were fabulous!
But there are other memories that weren't as fabulous.
Finding my soul-mate and getting our kids are far greater memories and on-going events than anything I experienced as a kid.
Too cute. Thanks Kids!
Yo whats up ll. I was answering a new message and I have msn you know!
I would have to say I still have a lot of kid in me. I've grown up, but I can still have fun coloring or playing on a playground, or things of that nature.

hey terry...thats your mug!
hey kids!
Mug shot. That's exactly what that is!
I miss the carefree innocence of childhood.
I remember, I remember
The fir-trees dark and high;
I used to think their slender tops
Were close against the sky.
It was a childish ignorance;
But now 'tis little joy
To know I'm further off from heaven
Than when I was a boy."
Hey LL, I have a picture of you too :)
to terry, from kids. with love.
for those who don't wanna open a browser to see terry's mug shot:
I like that poem THX. That was always my favorite kind of poem, the sort that makes an actual point that gets you to stop and think for a moment.
lets see it kids!
Life as an adult is great as well but, being a kid was great in a different, innocent sort of way.
And I had a crappy childhood.
:-)
Medkids, you got any of Downtown Dave?
um, isn't that downtown dave in the left half of terry's mug shot?
didn't talk to him for like a year, allthough we are the best of friends now
That's great to hear, LL.
I too was estranged from my family for an even longer time but, it's all gravy now.
um, isn't that downtown dave in the left half of terry's mug shot?
Yeah but, I'm lookin for a better shot of Dave
Less of a profile shot....more of a head shot.
Scribe has an interested lady, if you know what I mean?
ahh. gotcha.
:-)
