Actually I do not see Jake all the time but he hangs out with my other group of friends too. He just happened to have some time and I did too and he called, and said 'lets go look' so we did. He went his way I went mine. I did not hear my phone ring with other offers ;p but thanks ChrisDigger-we will look together at least once I hope before it is found.
I'm sure it is. I'm sure his posts got skipped over. During the hunt I would skipp 1,000+ posts all the time cuz there was no way I was gonna slog through em.
I have done a bit of homework on clue #3. The only important part is that 1) The medallion is buried in earth or 2) something has got to be buried in the park where the medallion is hid, such as the popular choice right now, Indian Mound. I subscribe to theory 2 but not the park.
My research has uncovered some curious goings on at my pool pick, College Park. Early Scandinavian Santerians would perform ther religous rights there and then ceremoniously bury their sacrifices in "the muddy", or Earth to you and I. One can still kick up fossilized chicken beaks and feet in the lower end of the park. Even today, one can hear the echoes of the drums .....
Allison never seems to dig TOO deep into the PP clues like most of us....funny, he is usually in the right park long before most of us.....which leads me to believe his clue writing isn't as deeply driven as some may think...
Not a slam or a put down to anyone....just thinking how AW thinks during the regular hunt when he noodles his spin of the PP clues....
snow poker, the one thing you've got to learn with aw, is that there's no such thing as "the only important part". he will use every play on words that he can to confuse us. in short, yes he is that damn good! :)

Well I guess you'll all find out when the clue explanations come out (which hopefully won't be for another week or so yet, hehe) If this snow sticks around it may slow things down a bit.
4. At the treasure’s site you’ll find traffic is light So you needn’t worry much about carbon monoxide. But whether searching by day or hunting by night It’s best to stay near plenty of hydrogen hydroxide.
And here are the previous clues:
3. It was not the fate of Pharaohs to lie in barrows As such a burial was not appropriate to their worth But if by comparison one is as poor as the sparrows. Then try looking for something covered with earth.
2. If your thoughts are strewn and you’re in a swoon And you worry, “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.” Remember the disc but try changing your tune And you too may find the stash you’ve been yearning for.
1. The hunt has begun and the shining of the Sun Hath turned the snows of winter into a big muddy bath In the parks of St. Paul you’d best be careful as you run Seeking the treasure that lies off of the beaten path.
This guy spends a lot of time with you....lol...anything we should know???
Isn't jake still doing the pro-kart thingy?? maybe we could do a jake/pro kart sponsored cooler crew get together...
A lot of people get ignored during the heat of the hunt. It's just too busy in there to comment on every post.
Yes, but his brilliance is "exceptional." ;)
LMAO rof pmp

be nice randy. now you've got me suspicious that she's giving m&m's to more than just me. :)

Don't say you all weren't warned! :)
fossilized chicken beaks and feet
The brilliance is astounding! Eew.
For the record, the coin was not hidden in a green tennis ball at Cherokee so there's no need to worry it fell out of one there.

Oh, well, I picked up a rubber stress ball in the shape of Earth at Indian Mounds, but it was all torn apart. Might it have been in there?
If he does answer, that means it's in an Earth, Wind & Fire cd case at St. Anthony.
;)

Hey wait a second. Isn't this the third clue? Shouldn't it have been found by now Dal? hehe

Here is how I see it...judging the spin put to the clues by one 'snow poker' Dal DIDN"T marry a fellow TEXAN....

Moi?
I wonder what the Medallion Hunt would be like if the clue writer was there online to taunt people as the hunt went on. hehe
yes you. and you omitted the last sentence. it was intended to be a compliment.
allison, i think you may have just stumbled on the identity of mr. news! lol!
I wonder what the Medallion Hunt would be like if the clue writer was there online to taunt people as the hunt went on.
Personally, I like it because the clue writer can GET TAUNTED BACK.
:)
Dal, after my research I am more sure of College Park than ever.
Well I guess you'll all find out when the clue explanations come out (which hopefully won't be for another week or so yet, hehe) If this snow sticks around it may slow things down a bit.
Where in the heck has green been??? She alive???
If this snow sticks around it may slow things down a bit.
Perk....another little hint???
"What incredible insight" "How insightful" "He must have the medallion in sight"
Now you're getting annoying! :)
"Where in the heck has green been??? She alive???"
Maybe. She only seems to really be around during the Medallion Hunt. Otherwise she has other things to worry about.
Now you're getting annoying! :)
You're going to "incite" Dal if you're not careful. :-)
:: waiting to hear a "yes dear" ::
:)
Well at least he's hanging around the cool new "in" site forthe Water Cooler crowd.
Queing up the next clue...
Now where is everyone?

Here is today's clue:
4. At the treasure’s site you’ll find traffic is light
So you needn’t worry much about carbon monoxide.
But whether searching by day or hunting by night
It’s best to stay near plenty of hydrogen hydroxide.
And here are the previous clues:

But if by comparison one is as poor as the sparrows.
Then try looking for something covered with earth.

And you worry, “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.”
Remember the disc but try changing your tune
And you too may find the stash you’ve been yearning for.
1. The hunt has begun and the shining of the Sun
Hath turned the snows of winter into a big muddy bath
In the parks of St. Paul you’d best be careful as you run
