I've been trying to teach myself to think like AW, but I'm just not that clever. I was hoping that I could find some pine trees that form an arrow in the Guide somewhere, so far no luck.
David has me stumped so far. I need to see how he wrote his clues last year. Does someone still have them? Please email them to me so I can see how detailed he gets.
Thanks Ares. Got'em. I don't suppose he had explanations for them? I'm thinking he uses scrambled words. The Pharaoh thing is bugging me to the point that I keep trying to use it and adjacent words to create Phalen related clues.
Just as I suspected....Ares, thanks for the explanations. He really kept it hidden last year which is good if I want to wait until the end to go look. But if he learns from his experience of last year, I may need to get out sooner than that. He probably is using scrambled words, so I'll continue to try to work on them.
The U2 thing seems to just tell me that it is hidden in a Joshua Tree jewel case. Can anyone back me up on this theory? What is the treasure shaped like? Could it fit in a jewel case?

I'm shocked to see that Me2 and Jake had been searching as early as last Wednesday. Are they psychic? They should know that David will make this tough.
I agree thg dont think he is going to give out to much to early.He wants it to go as long as posible.Although some # game or word game could be bieng used already.
I've been looking through the clues for numbers, word plays, anagrams, hidden meanings and after studying and cramming it all into the brain, I ended up with alphabet soup.
