"CM you brought up Cottage Grove earlier, do you live there?"
I used to live in CG. Now I'm across the river. (Thank God)
And that area you are referring to would still work because of the 'traffic lights' that are at Warner and 61. The stone wall could be that overlook up on the hill too.
Here's another thing I was thinking about. Could "another noble's domain" be referring to a court of some kind? Basketball and tennis are what comes to mind. But, the clue says to stay within the domain, so I would think it would have to be hidden on the court, which would be difficult at best. So, I'm not sure about that one.
Does anybody think Allison would be cruel enough to put the coin in a place not featured in THG? Such as, one of the "not-pictured" parks or a part of a park that's not depicted in THG?
Sometimes the things I say may be taken as clues. But then again sometimes the things I say on here are really designed to throw people off who listen to them. So you never really know if it's a good idea to pay much attention to what I'm saying or not.
I'm still at home. Haven't gone to work yet and now I'm thinking I won't. I want to eat some lunch, but I don't really feel like cooking or going out. I suppose I could order a pizza or something.
AW - Do you look at the order and content of your clues prior to posting them? Meaning, do you do a mock hunt in your head first to see if it will work at different parks first or is that our job to confuse things?
Sounds like we should be getting some sort of concrete direction in tonight's clue. I might have to brave my parents' 28.8k modem tonight to get the clue, since I'll be at their house for a while.
By the way Allison, would you consider concrete and stone to be equivalent? Just curious, nothing to do with the hunt. lol
I try not to refer to things by calling them something they're not, but then again some things are open to interpretation like whether or not a dozen trees constitutes "the woods".
.. or what actually constitutes a 'noble'. You can think of it from anyone who helps an old lady across the street to a king. Which does help in the interpretation part of things though. That's the fun part anyway.
High All! Good noodling. Ian is my hero for the day with wee lock. I also like Sherwood forest.. My top 3 Phalen, Como, Arlinton/Arkwright Michael Jackson ?? is another jackson and is a change of tune. Como without U is great
allison, me2, dal, and camoterry are still out there, or at least were a half hour or so ago. i was there with them from about 11 to 2, but figured if i'm gonna make an attempt to call in sick tomorrow i might as well get back to work today :)
incidentally, phalen screams "i'm here" even louder than im did!
Ah, CamoTerry must have been the third one she mentioned because I talked to her after you left it seems. Funny, CamoTerry was saying at Bugg's last night how he was probably going to have to work an extra long day today and didn't know when he would have time for hunting. I guess he must have caught the hunting fever.
Well Marley, I'm going to drive thru Phalen on my way to mom & dad's tonight. I'll bring those discs and stop if I see some goofball with a rasta hat. ;-)

Carbon Monoxide just stood for Clue Master

I know the answer to that! >:) Although whether I would and whether I did may be different questions.
Are there more clues within your comments on here, David? I thought I might have caught a couple last night. I'll have to slog.
Although whether I would and whether I did may be different questions.
I'd prefer if you would let me know whether you did, if given the choice!

Actually the real answer to that question is sort of complicated and I'll have to explain it after the hunt is over.
Afternoon!
Whats up Allison hope your feeling better! You evil one you:)
Sure seems like its at Phalen ,but Como does still fit and Bc!Although I will be back out at Phalen in a little bit!
Nice seeing all you folks out at the Park!ME2,Ares,Camo-terry,Tmk and chrisdigger!
Almost feeling like the PP hunt!
GOOD JOB ALLISON!!!
I guess that cryptic remark will have to do for now.
there's a clue there Frosti, or not !
I'm still at home. Haven't gone to work yet and now I'm thinking I won't. I want to eat some lunch, but I don't really feel like cooking or going out. I suppose I could order a pizza or something.
No point going to work this late in the day. Have some soup. Take a load off.
I decided on Macaroni and Cheese as being the easiest thing I have at the moment to make.
Only 5 hours until the next clue. And then things should really start to get interesting.
Only 5 hours until AW throws us for another loop. I'm not sure that I've had the same favorite park two days in a row yet?
I think we might be "failin" this test.
What's your favorite today?

Some is on purpose. A lot of it though was stuff I never could have dreamt of myself.

Yeah and do you know the difference between a Elm tree and a Hickory?Of course this ? has nothing to do with the hunt. ;)
He's cagey. Marley, were you at Phalen today?
Yes sir from about 9:00 to 12:00 and I cant believe I didnt find it!!hehe
Where were you looking?
Apparently Me2 Dal, and I forgot who else is still out there.
.. or what actually constitutes a 'noble'. You can think of it from anyone who helps an old lady across the street to a king. Which does help in the interpretation part of things though. That's the fun part anyway.
Are you going back today?
High All! Good noodling. Ian is my hero for the day with wee lock.

My top 3 Phalen,
Como,
Arlinton/Arkwright

I was talking and searching with camo-terry, tmk, me2, ares and chrisdigger.
Yes I am going back although Artemis thinks we should go to Como.We will decide on the way out the door.
Did anbody look at the lump of a hill to the NE of the farthest paking lot you can drive to at Phalen??
incidentally, good seeing you again, marley.
Ah, CamoTerry must have been the third one she mentioned because I talked to her after you left it seems. you mean the one that's in maplewood, nd?
hehe, he took a loooooong lunch too :)
Well Marley, I'm going to drive thru Phalen on my way to mom & dad's tonight. I'll bring those discs and stop if I see some goofball with a rasta hat. ;-)
Yeah Allison seems to me you could start a Mock hunters therapy group when this is over!hehe
was Lumpy one of the seven dwarves?? image 7 of the guide is of......Frog Pond!
Actually frosti I am wearing a camo jacket should be able to SPOT me no problem, unless I am in the trees.hehe
Sneezy, Sleepy, Happy, Bashful, Doc, Grumpy, and Dopey.
I don't think lumpy was one of the Dwarves, he was The Beavers friend. Any Beaver connections in the parks??
its a ramsey county park, but some of it is in st paul, nd, beaver lake park over on the east end of st paul on the sp/mplwd boundary.
Yeah beaver lake in Maplewood,on the edge of st paul:)
My brain feels lumpy cause these clues are pretty good. ++
Slow down Ares give me a turn:)
The EDge = Guitarist for U2!
