She did give some reason, but now I forget what it was. I don't think it had to do with any animals though. I think it had to do with Wheelock and water and stone walls and such.
Hi Jewel! I think most people are communting home. I gotta work till 7:45 tonight so will pop in and out this eve. What do you think?? could be Como or Phalen or were way off base
I decided to go for a drive. Went to Como. Saw Marley and Artemis but didn't catch up with them. Went to Phalen, didn't see anyone there that I recognized though there were a few people in the park. Maybe people are eating dinner or doing something else. Anyway, just a little over an hour to the next clue.
well after bailing on buggs I headed out to Como but no one else was there for awhile so I drove around some more. I guess I missed everyone running over to wheelock. I kinda like the idea of how wheelock and maryland come close together, but I haven't researched that just yet. I'll have to noodle into that b4 driving out tonite
Actually the people who were at Buggs last night mostly ended up at a place called Boyd Park. They didn't hear anything about Wheelock until they got back and read the message board.
AW you were pretty quick to claim there were no spotters. I am sure the PP hunt has no spotters but the mock hunt, it would be just like you to have spotters to document our pathetic digging.......
After all there would have been a few fun shots of me yesterday wrestling with a smushed up popcan to try to get it open, fortunately I finally got out my leatherman and just cut it open.
I think I will have to stay in tonight though. If anyone calls me saying they found it, I should be able to get online and let everyone else know it's been found.
9. Seems ya’ll are lost, scouring the land of frost And maybe another clue is what you’ll be needin’. But you may be fixin’ to give up in utter exhaust Cause your plan to get the right park, it’s not succeedin’.
And here are the previous clues:
8. Though St. Patrick’s Day is only a ways away, Even the luck of the Irish is no guarantee. The leprechauns have hidden their gold in a secret cache, But in their tiny deadbolt you may find a key.
7. Now “Old Hickory”, if you studied history, Was General Andrew Jackson’s informal title. Another Jackson may help solve this mystery But keeping sight of the General’s moniker is vital.
6. The rule of Boreas the King is yielding to spring And so we’ve reached the end of his reign. To avoid falling into a useless sort of fling It’s best to stay within another noble’s domain.
5. Could you be grumpy because your dinner was lumpy? Maybe this clue is one way to put your mind at ease. Hidden amongst terrain that might be called bumpy Consider taking as your guide a group of fir trees.
4. At the treasure’s site you’ll find traffic is light So you needn’t worry much about carbon monoxide. But whether searching by day or hunting by night It’s best to stay near plenty of hydrogen hydroxide.
3. It was not the fate of Pharaohs to lie in barrows As such a burial was not appropriate to their worth. But if by comparison one is as poor as the sparrows Then try looking for something covered with earth.
2. If your thoughts are strewn and you’re in a swoon And you worry, “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.” Remember the disc but try changing your tune And you too may find the stash you’ve been yearning for.
1. The hunt has begun and the shining of the Sun Hath turned the snows of winter into a big muddy bath In the parks of St. Paul you’d best be careful as you run Seeking the treasure that lies off of the beaten path.

I hope this clue sheds some light on it, tom am is my prime hunting time..in the daylight

I'm sure that like most clues, it will shine light onto the location for some, while others mistake shadows for light.
Actually the people who were at Buggs last night mostly ended up at a place called Boyd Park. They didn't hear anything about Wheelock until they got back and read the message board.
I always knew AW was a spotter :)
Actually does anyone know some of the other members of David's singles club, I wonder if he has any of them spotting
There's no such thing as spotters. ;-)
AW you were pretty quick to claim there were no spotters. I am sure the PP hunt has no spotters but the mock hunt, it would be just like you to have spotters to document our pathetic digging.......
Hell I bet David has Jackie & Trent out there spotting with cameras getting foolish shots of some of us hunting.
Too much work trying to follow everyone all over town. hehe
After all there would have been a few fun shots of me yesterday wrestling with a smushed up popcan to try to get it open, fortunately I finally got out my leatherman and just cut it open.

Sounds like tonights clue will be helpful!!?!
What do you mean? ALL the clues are helpful! hehe
Some clues are more equal than others
Getting the new clue set to go. Any bets on what it will say?
the clue will say something about stopping at Caribou if you get cold and ordering a double mocha with an extra shot of espresso.
oh wait that is what I was gonna have my girlfriend do on her way home
Cocoa mocha revisited?
yeah only I prefer my mine with half a shot of almond, and half a shot of coconut
I call it an Almond Joy mocha
maybe I'll grab one on the way out to Mounds park tonight!
That sounds like a Mock Hunt Clue from 2 years ago.
Back from Phalen - CD, MK & ATH were out there but heading back (you must drive fast digger, you beat me home)
A lot looks good out there. No phone call yet AW?
5 min. and counting...
Maybe something along the lines of golf, East or 1/2 & 1/2
No one has called yet to say they found it.
in 2 and 2
In just a minute or two now.
Here is today's clue:

Is there a gas station anywhere close?
