i'm not at liberty to divulge the whereabouts of me2. and no, i'm sufficiently drugged right now cuz as i said, leaving sick was only a half lie, so i'm not going anywhere. nor will i go anywhere till after tomorrows clue.
yes, but the area people are hunting in is getting small enough that everyone can see everyone else hunting at their secret spot. Unless of course their secret spot is somewhere other than where everyone else seems to be.
There's actually just two clues left after this one now. One that narrows it down a bit more and one that basically tells you where to go. I wonder if we'll get to Clue #12 again after all?
So what is everyone doing while they're out at the park all day? There's not enough snow to really be digging. Are you just trying to line things up? Looking for garbage or other unusual items?
Just got back from Phalen, dug up the whole fence by the lake across from Ivy St, lots of thick leaves to dig thru, but no luck-only tennis balls and rocks. Saw maybe a half dozen others out looking.
I dug up the Big W pretty good, I feel sold on that leg of the park. Damn its frosti out there. Also anyone else notice that the word Frost was in the last clue, isn't there a frost street on one end of the park.
No, I just wanted to say there were 69 hours left.
I expect to have my clue on time on Thursday. What I need to figure out, if it comes to it, is that I have my Mason meeting Thursday at 7:30. I can post the clue and still get there on time, but I can't really have my cell phone on during the meeting and there's a good chance it could be found during the meeting.
FYI- I've met atleast 10 people looking that haven't posted on here or the Yahoo site, and a couple that only post on the Yahoo site. (Hello Mike! Good to meet you)
I was also thinking maybe I should just read the clue at the park since it seems almost pointless to post it as those who will be able to make use of it will likely already be out there. Then again maybe it will be found before then and it won't matter.
and speaking of people and posting, who was it that was raking the bases of the trees at phalen around 1 or so on the east side of the entrance into the park off of wheelock?
actually, aw, i'm kinda hoping it'll be found real soon like. as soon as its found i'm gonna go back into hiding for another year, and i'm not gonna step back into the physical world until next year's pre-dig.
if you could make yourself blend in, perhaps. then again, some of us may have placed certain, um, devices out to record your movement so we'd know where you were at :)
yeah the holo-batteries have taken more than their share of abuse in the last month.
There's 146 people in my Yahoo club. When I mail out the clues, 20 some bounce back. But that still means there's 120 or so people getting the clues, people who were interested enough in hunting to sign up in the first place. So there could actually be quite a few people out there participating, if not physically, and least in spirit. I've even been mailing the clues to my Mom. She thought it was downtown somewhere because one of the clues mentioned "Jackson". I don't think she's going to find it.
that's ok, jewel. like i said, me2 thought i looked about 30 when she first met me.
good luck chris
naw nancy, now you know how the folks who live out of state feel :)
No one called and I'm home from the movie. Will anyone get lucky and find it in the dark?
you keep that phone handy tonite, aw. right under your pillow would be a good start :)
Planning on going out again or is your faith in someone else? And is Me2 really at home?

That's up to you really. Depends a lot on where you're looking.
take your pick, jewel. i'd be more inclined to use a rake given the current ground conditions though.
jewel, i did my best to keep incredibly covered when i was out. my cheeks feel a little chapped though in the areas not covered by my hat and jacket.
So what is everyone doing while they're out at the park all day? There's not enough snow to really be digging. Are you just trying to line things up? Looking for garbage or other unusual items?
kicking a lot of snow and leaves around.

there's 3 of now who are using me2 quotes???

Nice meeting you Rush, any luck at the big W?
Also drove by Como, no one there.

lol Ares, you just noticed?
Seems ya’ll are lost, scouring the land of frost
Yep Rush, its on the N side in Maplewood.
Only 69 hunting hours left...
yeah i just noticed.
aw is that supposed to be a clue there???
Is everyone preparing for the mad dash Thursday at 7:00, I assume that AW will have his clue come out right on time that day???
I may have to force myself out of the burrow tomorrow and have a look. I dont have to be to work until 10.

not that post aw. the one you made right before it. reiterating the frost clue.

Oh that one. Rush asked if "frost" was mentioned in a clue. I was quoting it for him. Though if you take it in context, it certainly could be a clue.

there's several ways of actually looking at that one that i've seen.
wow i must be getting better. benadryl an hour ago, and no caffeine to counteract it. and i'm still good and awake!
Going to recharge those holographic batteries? hehe
Hmmmm, so I wonder what the chances are that I could sneak to the hiding spot and check on the treasure without being seen by anyone?
if you could make yourself blend in, perhaps. then again, some of us may have placed certain, um, devices out to record your movement so we'd know where you were at :)

Which park would that be? I'll be there!

hope no one finds it tonight I think I might see something in the last clue that I have not heard anyone mention yet.
