I had an idea once for a web site called 420bonghits, where people would gather at 4:20, and take simultaneous bong hits via webcam or something. So there'd be like 20 cam images of folks hanging with you at your 4:20.
And every hour, there'd be another batch of folks.

I created this mostly for the Medallion Hunters but would love to have more people here. This place is actually busier than I thought it would be. I didn't think anyone would come here cuz it's just not the PPWC if you know what I mean?
Also, this is a very big site. There's tons of other threads to hang out in and you can also create your own folder if you wish. Just make sure you create it in the "Members Folders" area of the site and send a message to Lance letting him know.
Personally I think other than lack of people debating at any given time it's better than the old board. The new PPWC format is lame. The Strib's rooms are so tightly moderated and p.c that it's a joke. BTW I saw Martin./Scipio over there and it must be driving him nuts having the moderator constantly on him for personal attacks. I will try to spread the word etc. The other threads on here are o.k but they kind of become a buddy room where everyone knows everyone and it's hard to get started. I'd hate to see the old ppwc folks die out. I'll do what I can to spread the word.

well there does become a point where you do have to venture out a bit. a large chunk of the users of pf are just like us. outcasts from where we used to chat. everywhere i've read here has welcomed me into their fold just fine.

I agree. I've lurked in many of the other threads but haven't participated much simply for lack of time to do so. When I do actually participate, I usually do it here in the PPWC Refugees.
I didn't mean it to sound like the other people weren't friendly etc. On the contrary. They have all been very gracious. It's like being the new kid in school I guess, But I have posted in a few of the other threads and everyone was great. It would be nice to get some of the old people back in here is what I was lamenting about.
I had an email from Greg Sax here over the weekend. Seems the PP has pulled the plug for the www.coolercrew.com site. He's going to be contacting some PP folks tomorrow, but I did email him and mentioned this place and Lance's trying to find ways of making this profitable. I don't know if any connection can be made, but it might be worth checking out at any rate.
The PP has sponsored that site, has used it both online and in hardcopy print. You'd think they'd notify the person they gave the key to, wouldn't ya? Geez!

I'm just wondering where Peaches is. I saw a Peaches username being used recently but haven't seen any posts on Peaches part.
I think this is a great board not only for lost souls who have found their way here, but for posting messages to all PPers.

We were all newbies at one time, even at the PP. However, people were used to the PP and were there for a reason. This simply isn't the PP.
