ABC family network plays it every Monday through Friday at 9 PM central time. My wife got me hooked on it. Wayne Brady, Colin and Ryan are just to damn funny together.
I watched Wayne Brady's show once. It's not very good. He is better playing off other people. I am not sure about Colin. I have seen reruns of "Whose line is it anyway" on the comedy network. It is the show before ABC and Drew Carey took over. Would that be the orginal series? It did have Coliln on it.
Hello!, all cool people! Brandy does wonders to a crabby personality, doncha think? Do Not Respond if you are not cool!....UNLESS you have found Scribe's hairbrush. I have not slogged, and I must sleep. Good health to all, and sweet cooler dreams, and much cooler love to all mankind!
Ryan Stiles and Colin are the best part of that show. I can take or leave Wayne Brady. The Greg guy is sometimes good, sometimes bad. The british version was better.
mornin' ralph. after braving rush hour traffic 3 times (i was subtly reminded this morning that today was my day to bring in donuts for the department) i finally can get some work done. or not.
hehe. i got in to work only to be reminded. sh*t! drive back to the bakery, get 2 dozen. the second trip through rush hour. somehow i knew getting back on 35e going south was a mistake. by the time i got headed back to work, 36 was slowing quite nicely. rush hour the third.
Ares, next time, there's used to be a donut connection on Stinson Blvd right off of 35W South going south from whee you were. You could get there pretty easy taking side streets I'm sure.
decided yet whether you're gonna come to fern's tonite?
Haven't decided yet. Scribe doesn't have skating tonight either. Something's going on at the rink that her club can't skate tonight. So, maybe....most likely....possibly......probably....
G'day...got a taste of your commute problems this week. Had to make an emergency trip to the Cities. Hubby had a partially detached retina, and we made an early morning trip to Phillips Eye Institute. We seem to have missed the rush, however, left Forest Lake about 7am and arrived there in half an hour. Not too shabby for elderly, country drivers......
I also picked up a cold from the great masses of germ laden bodies that inhabit the area.
same here, ter. inter-hunt get-togethers would be a great idea methinks. of course that's gonna mean i have to go back on what i said about disappearing from the off-the-board world until next year now isn't it? :)
Well, if I ever get up the ambition, I still have a vision of the "Tour de Parks" hunt. That would be more of a summer thing and a different sort of hunt. Then again we could always get together on occasion just for the heck of it like the old Cooler Crew used to do. Maybe we should plan a bonfire in Newell ;-)
Personally, I like Fern's better than McGovern's. It's quiter, homier, and the parking is better. Service is more entertaining, though apparently not always necessarily better. Might be a bit more expenseive, but the food is better.
The last time the Medallion was at Newell, we had two bonfires there. One was the pity party and then again at thye rehash. It's kind of a nice place to have one. Other ideas are to meet for dinner like we did tonight, have a picnic, get together somewhere and play games. We could plan something maybe once every month or two just to keep in touch.
Had a great time at Ferns :) Future get togethers would be cool!!!
I like Ferns for Mock Hunt events, but I'm not sure how it would stand up for the PP Pre-dig Gig with 100+ people showing up. Is there another room there somewhere? I think we should give McGoverns another shot next year. People like Wright-Winger or RV Bill, that didn't make it to the new forums, still might show up at McGoverns.
Looks like some Shooting the Breeze - Live! sounds like fun to others too. I hate to think we wouldn't see each other for another year.
Ares - you just needed the right set of circumstances to keep you from going into hiding for the year. Maybe you found the right thing?
Downtown Dave! Howdy!! Where were you during the Mock Hunt? It was great fun.
This almost cold is coming and going. Not bad...but irritating. The ears unplug only to close up again. Of course going out to shovel and plow in this wind didn't help.
Allison - I agree with your assessment of McGovern's vs. Fabulous Ferns to a point. The biggest issue is having enough room for everyone for the pre-dig dig. You put that many people together anywhere and parking becomes an issue.
I agree, a round table would be better (but harder to find). Or I would be better off in the middle, as I have a hard time hearing with alot of background noise. And people speak with different tones, I could hear Scribe fine, but had a hard time hearing AW.
nope, terry, i decided against it even before i heard how conditions are. i don't want to be hurting later this week (any other week and i wouldn't care) nor do i want my head cold to come back. i feel like i'm just getting to a point where i'm kicking this thing without the use of the medicine cabinet and i'd like to keep it that way :)
i'm never gonna be able to stay inside dal's computer am i?
... And once again...When you're feeling forlorn, eat some corn. When you're treated with scorn, eat some corn. When the world starts to stink, and you start to think you never should've been born, eat some corn.
"Whose line is it anyway"?
I love it. I used to watch the British version on cable years ago. Those guys on there are talented. They can adlib anything.

They're great. I heard Wayne Brady's got his own show now but, I haven't seen it. And doesn't Colin do one of those date shows?
This is painfully slow. I'm on dialup and I can't take it!
Have a good one Wolvie, I'm outta here before I go nuts.

I am on Dial up also, but I am having no problems. Oh well, have a good one THX!
I betcha Scribe is watching her alma mater playing in the hockey tournament tonight, cheering them on like the wild woman she is ;)
Yes, Ryan has his own show. I think it's called Rendez-view or something like that. Channel 45 perhaps?
Ryan or Colin?
The guy with glasses. Whoever that guy is.

Hiya KT- I found poetry books for you! And Tonya says Hi! She also liked the poem!

Mornin' Sam
I agree, Frosti, the British version was better.
mornin' ralph. after braving rush hour traffic 3 times (i was subtly reminded this morning that today was my day to bring in donuts for the department) i finally can get some work done. or not.
Time to get the doughnuts.

i believe its still there, thx. and all i've got to do is drive down county 88 to get there and back :)
decided yet whether you're gonna come to fern's tonite?
I've got some Scooby dolls to give away to those who want them. Another ploy to get people to come?
Supplies limited. No purchase necessary.

Oh come now. If Ares can make it, so can you two kids. :)

Creepy! Hope everything is ok now?
come on, thx, you can do it. just put one foot in front of the other. :)
a half hour, lady lou???? that's really good for 35w traffic that time of morning in this weather!
come on, thx, you can do it. just put one foot in front of the other. :)
I'm still debating. I've been so busy the past few weeks that I would love to rent a few movies and just stay home and relax tonight.
Made it back home safe and sound. Happy scraping when all this crap freezes!
It was wonderful seeing everyone tonight. Sorry I didn't get a chance to chat with everyone, but seeing a familiar, friendly face is always nice too.
Let's plan to do some get-togethers during the year. A picnic in a park in warm weather might be nice.
Going to go nurse this cold. I feel like I might be winning the battle.
Goodnight, SCDs and MCL!
same here, ter. inter-hunt get-togethers would be a great idea methinks. of course that's gonna mean i have to go back on what i said about disappearing from the off-the-board world until next year now isn't it? :)

hmm. bonfire. newell. devil's den is the key! lol.
someone explain to me again what the hell i'm doing up at 1230?
It's Friday night, that's why.

I see him on my buddy list from time to time, and I'll give him a link here the next time.
::: keep an eye on your list, Ian :::
I have a good friend at work who owns a house in Forest Lake. Does the name Rick George sound familliar by any chance?
Hey, nice to see folks last night, even though I showed up late. Didn't want to go out before the kids went to bed.
Thanks again for the lift Allison!
hey, frosti, the only one there that you missed was tmk, i believe, so ya didn't do too terribly bad.
Just checking back in .
afternoon dave.
Good Evening!

Hi Terry! Sorry we didn't get to talk last night:(
Hope your cold goes away! The weather doesn't help.
I know! Seems like get togethers are never long enough to visit with everyone - and those long tables aren't super for conversations either.
I agree, a round table would be better (but harder to find). Or I would be better off in the middle, as I have a hard time hearing with alot of background noise. And people speak with different tones, I could hear Scribe fine, but had a hard time hearing AW.
