hey, terry. don't let the cold get to ya. just ask me2 and camoterry, i did this whole hunt under the control of a nice cold. finally starting to recover from it too! lol.
my ears were fine right up until i got out of my nice warm car. then they plugged up. last weekend i went out to the m.o.a. driving down 7th and the ramp to 94 at mounds i could just feel my head plugging up. i actually needed gum in order to pop my ears.
can·na·bis Pronunciation: 'ka-n&-b&s Function: noun Etymology: Latin, hemp, from Greek kannabis; akin to Old English hænep hemp Date: 1783 1 : HEMP 1a 2 : any of the preparations (as marijuana or hashish) or chemicals (as THC) that are derived from the hemp and are psychoactive
Hi...I had fun too at Ferns...last one to leave :) I wish the table could be a round one that night so that everyone could talk together...that was a bit tough. Dinner was very good...FYI-Mark gave the tip to the bartender who put it in the waitress' envelope.
So MK? you did not email me your 'secret' for wealth ;)
As for Buggs...We will be up at the lake for Easter... if anyone was thinking of a good day to rob our home -hehe-we have nothing good to steal :)
We're like the family you don't want to mention, or the family you don't want to run into while in a park late at night so you have to explain what you're doing out there....
We were going to have the final clue out on easter because we were trying to make it more of a family event! Wait till Buggs hears about what all of you have to say about his place.
I went back and slogged just incase I missed something about Buggs...I still don't get it Jake...no-one said anything bad about Buggs, that is just a bad day to choose, that is like saying lets end the hunt Christmas Day. (you realize Easter is March 31, only 2 weeks away? And most people will be out of town or have family in town over the weekend.
Even though it doesn't seam like it all the time...Most (if not all of us) believe in God and this is a special day in keeping this day holy, remembering Jesus (which we should be doing everyday!), attending church and spending the day with our families with big dinners and kids. (Not that "your hunt" cannot be with kids) but our grandparents and parents usually look forward to and work very hard at cooking a meal and seeing their children (us) that they may not see on a regular basis.
I for one will be with my inlaws on this day out of town (and others may have family from other cities visiting them).
Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas...those are moments to literally treasure in our lifetime that can NEVER be replaced after some of our loved ones are no longer with us. Days to remember and reflect.
I am sorry if your family does not get together for a "celebration of life" in this way. Thank you for inviting us -just incase we did not have these events in our life, but don't get on us too for continuing traditions with our families and not coming to your event. I think not ALL people are open to that big of a change in their traditions and go to the bar on Easter.
I do look forward to your hunt whenever it is-I guess I will just not be the lucky one to find the treasure if the hunt goes that long and ends that day- again thanks for the open invitation :)
Hi All - Was thinkin about ya today. For those interested in watching that classic treasure hunt movie, 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World' is on Turner Classic Movies (TCM - ch 53?) this Monday, 3/25, 7:00-10:30. It's a bit more chaotic than most of our hunts but it's still not far from the clusters after the release of clue 11. And if you're confused on what the 'Big W' is. Tune in around the last 45 minutes and you'll see what we're talking about.
AW I dont think you ever got back to me on the making of more coins.I was thinking of them again last night.I will slog back maybe ya did if not---Ahh "forget about it" I will make them anyway so even if you dont want them I can go put them out during your next hunt.hehe

I am still fighting it Ares. I only have one plugged up ear thus far. This is the first almost cold I've had in three years.
Mind over matter...mind over matter...mind over matter!

note to self: wear a hat next time!
My ears tend to plug up with colds. It's a happening thing from the time I was a kid. Eustacian tubes.
Had a great time at Ferns tonight:) sorry not to visit more with the other end of the table :(
Hopefully we can get together again before next years hunt.
Mornin all!
Had a good time last night at ferns! Nice to see all the "professionals" again. Did someone say canabis?
Hey all! Good to see everyone again. Next time lets do it on a Saturday night so I'm not so out of it.

What are they going to donate for the winners??? a free beer?? Is this some sad attempt to sell booze or does Jake or Medallionator own the place??
If they are interested maybe they'd be better served sponsoring a 'Cooler Crew ' softball team....probably sell more booze...or yes cannabis :)

takes doob from artemis
<inhales deeply> passes to Frosti.....
Thanks Artemis =)
I have to wonder....
Does Randy put the dooby in "Scooby Dooby Doo"?
Dave's not here, Man.
thanks kids, i really appreciate that reminder :)
as for the doobies in "scooby dooby doo", whaddya think the scooby snacks were supposed to be :)
Somebody light some incense, it's getting a little hazy in here!
I thought Scooby Snacks were rewards to condition behavior such that actions that led to the solving of mysteries were encouraged.
mm-hmm. sure they were. :)
and if you wanna light up, please, go over to ian's playground and do it. :)
Hey, if we light up, it's to turn the Mystery Machine's headlights on so we can get through the eerie fog on our way to spooky mansions.

O.K. Jake
SNOW DAY!

C-ya (The Oscars are just starting)
Oh, and the movie 'Rat Race' was close but no cigar. Trent, Jackie & Bud will do better than that one.
Happy Hunting
