Or a casino will buy it ;-). Stick it next to the Grilled Cheese sandwich and the haunted cane.

My guess is that it will go higher in value then what its worth when its found

Personally I don't. I think it's a pretty small group of people that would want it.

I undstand they auctioned off the old metal medallion and it only caught $100.

Ok.. I have about 15 more minutes here, then I have to head over and visit my Grandparents for a bit.

I'll be back on sometime after 6 tonight... and I'm planning on being at the PP tonight.

I think it would a good investment for a St. Paul bar to purchase the medallion and put it on display.

I personally would bid $400 on one of the older Treasure chests or metal medallions.  However, personally the newer versions mean more to me because I've only been hunting since '87 and its been the newer acrylic version pretty much.

no clue noodling yet...we should keep our brains fresh for the difficult stuff

chris, I don't think the clue means anything but that it's in a park, which totally shoots my plan of going out and kicking the snow away from under my mailbox :)

Tim, are you going to Paula's or are we going to meet you at the theater?

Sun, 01/23/2005 - 11:34 AM Permalink
OTiS

well I got a lil inside information and I guess the max bid for that medallion is 5 grand...

I'm picking up Shannon at 1:00 so we should be to Paula's by 1:40.  Play with the baby for a few minutes and then to the theater about 2:45.

My take on the 1st clue is that it's in a park and if you really go out on a limb the park could have a critters name in in it ala "Beaver Lake Park."  But thats a stretch.

tim_the_hunter

could it mean that? sure.

does it mean that? almost certainly not.

From the looks of the PDG pic, the pain level was pretty much Nothing when it was taken.
I wish I could've stayed longer, but it was either leave early, or not go at all.
I'm so glad to have seen you all!
