well I thought we were joking around here but if we aren't my real suggestion would be: don't change the spelling, its cooler crew not kewler krewe. we could add some more things to make it more krewe-ish like a vehicle and perhaps make a faction of the cooler crew but with a seperate name to be determined.
someone was already talking about cooler crew jackets, you add in capes and maybe hats of some sort plus a bus or a fire truck or a ice truck and we are money!

to see people actually hunting in costume would be priceless - regardless if its a cape or a dracula suit or a giant winnie the pooh - i dont care - needs to be more than a button or a baseball coat ;)

Thus we have evolved the way we have.
But we do shovels, pith helmets, lights, white garments, and with 'cooler blue' we have our own colour. We've logoed wear - I don't the Vulcans have *that*! - and we have our own motto - "You dig?"
Our identity is becoming better known every year. Why fix something that's not broke? We are who we are, why change now and copy something that's not near as unique as we are? We came about because of the people we are... We weren't a part of written story. In fact, we've had a story written about *us* because we're far more unique and interesting than some bit players in a fairy tale.
But some are seeking to take away the alter egos we currently have. We already have alter egos; why get rid of those to only take on new(er) ones that mimic a group that's not near as unique as we are?
It sounds like there's a desire by a few to take the CC to a more visible, organized level. Not such a bad idea. It could be fun, but it certainly wouldn't be required. Of course, it would take a higher level of organization and a higher level of time and possibly financial commitment. Which could be fun. But I'd hate to lose the "anybody's welcome" aspect of the CC.

I actually prefer Cooler Crew so we don't copy the vulc/camo groups.
