I was wondering what do you do when you get leaves and sticks stuck in the little space that separates your wood? (on your deck)

Well, if I had a deck that big, I would get a deck pick - some sort of thin, hard spike or rod to clean out that wood. The last thing you need in the cracks of your deck is dry rot.

I dont think Hard Spikes go good with CM's Big deck!! I think that sounds like it mite hurt it A little bit!!!! lol :sheepish:

Blow it of course. But my back has been hurting lately so it's not as easy as it used to be. That's why I have one of the neighbors stop over and blow my deck. It feels real good to have a clean deck. I won't be embarrassed to show other people that way.

Unless you wash it with water doesn't it get a little sticky?

It does but too much water can be a bad thing too. You don't want the wood to warp. I just put a sheet of latex over the whole thing when I know it's going to be a rough night out.

If you've got a meat smoker, you better have a big deck to use it on - a little deck means the meat smoker will be too close to the window. That smoked meat smell will penetrate deep into the house and soon everything will have a musky scent.

hay In certen cases that musky smell is good it when it get Musty that it messes with ya!!! lol

I have 3 meat smokers what does that tell you?
