<edit> the browser is there and it attaches the pic but it doesn't post it - I've never seen that before - I even went in to edit and re posted and it doesnt show. ??
Even though ares and TV don't have Host access to this thread they have host access to the main thread and thats why I think they see the picture for whatever reason. 3M has host access to this thread as well. It must be some internal option that we're overlooking. I changed it so others can post and attach pictures but not sure about the view options.
I used the C:Geo app on my Droid X. It works great!
They were quick grab and go's, but I'll take 'em! Found "The Trails By The Le Duc Mansion" And "Tennis anyone?". Was going to check out "Camfield" since it is almost literally down the street from my house, but there were too many people around dropping their kids off at daycare next to the park.
OK - Keep saying I want to start doing this, but I (too) am too cheap to actually buy a GPS.
Do any of you know if there is such an app for an i-phone??? That would at least get me started.
probably* will break down and buy a hand held this spring once the weather is a little nicer (I say that every year! But I might even be able to get out and about this year!)
Stick with C:Geo. I have heard the other one doesn't work very well and there is no such thing as support.
But remember........smart phones are not GPS's. They are fragile, suck batteries (a GPS will run 20 hours on a set), and the antennas are not as good. A phone is usable for casual finds, but much slower.

I don't have a 'browse' my computer button
does anyone else have this problem that is not a host of this thread?
Ian? did you do this on purpose? maybe you don't want us to post pictures. ??

If it's posted from some other hosting site, maybe Adblock Plus is filtering out on my end.
Do you see the pictures in these posts now?
